B. Toad Jones won't hop just yet.

B. Todd Jones confirmation hearing delayed

A scheduled nomination hearing for Minnesota's U.S. Attorney, B. Todd Jones, to be head of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has been postponed. . .

A Senate hearing was scheduled for today, but it has been postponed for a week at the request of Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley, who's the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Grassley says neither Jones nor the Obama administration has provided the committee with documents about various ATF operations that he's seeking.

Why am I not surprised?

Anonymous said...: And Civil War buffs think that Gen "Stonewall" Jackson deserved his nickname. Unfortunately, he doesn't hold a pin to the Obaomao administration for stonewalling.

This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible.
