Just like NIJ, IL state rep. says magazine bans useless without confiscation

"There can be no grandfather clause on this," he said to those requesting an amendment, "because there are no identity numbers on these clips." If he allowed grandfathering the magazines, he said he would lose votes from those from which he had already garnered support.
Have the courage of your convictions and come and take them yourself, asshole.

Mike ,As I have said, At this point War is only a matter of how soon they pass another gun law. You have said "no more Wacos" well if they pass another laww and NO ONE obeys then MILLIONS of Wacos become inevitable. The Feds have put a stangle hold on the ammo knowing it to be our weekness. If we wait much longer we fight with rocks and sticks, and its fight or go to the camps.

There are plenty of shotgun shells to be had locally. Even 7 1/2 and size 8 shot can be made deadly. If you don't know how, put "You Tube of cut slug shotshells" in a search engine. The videos will show you everything you need to know. I give this advise, mainly to those who did not prepare when ammo was abundant. Only an idiot did not see a civil war coming. Many, including friends and family members, thought ammo would always be available and put off their purchases. Never mind that I constantly showed them the increased costs of procrastination. Screw 'em! Let them use cross bows.

Many others have suggested it; maybe civil war can be averted if the FEDs allow secession. It really is time to get out. Both, citizens and politicians are hoping against hope that this will end well. It won't!

This same buttnugget couldn't answer when asked what rim fire meant. When asked if he ever owned firearms he said no. Yet another gun grabber is exposed as a non owner who knows absolutely nothing about the very things he tries to ban. He endured an embarrassing flogging trying to defend the indefensible.

Democrats are flouting their oaths and telling lie after lie on the floor of the House. A couple republicans have stood up with one even warning directly about "blood on the porch" but even the tiny bit of a fight a has been disheartening.

Some of the things being said by democrats going unchallenged piss me off. Not one republican has talked about 14th amendment incorporation. Not one has pointed out that not only can state government not ban exercise of a right but neither can municipalities cities or counties.

No republicans brought up the first and fourth amendments when dems reached into private property called churches banning carry there. This while democrats talked endlessly about amendments exempting private property.

No republicans set grandstanding and one liners aside and simply make the case FOR constitutional carry. Hey, I understand the idea behind giving an opponent enough rope to hang themselves but its gotten flat out ridiculous here in Illinois. Republicans say "high capacity" magazines instead of "standard" capacity. Everything is "compromise" and "reasonable" and "common sense". "Deals".

57 legislators voted to outright ban and confiscate arms and republicans are talking about making deals? Really? The NRA tells people to demand permission slips. And the sheep beg.

And republicans wonder why they lose elections.

For crying out loud. This buttnugget said he supports one set of rules for some people and different rules for other people and not one republican called him out on it.

Brandon phelps claimed automatics are already outlawed all across this country and not one republican called him out on it.

Watching the democrats is indeed disgusting but I gotta say that watching the republicans is worse in many ways. It's one thing to see grabbers tout their tripe but its expected. It makes me want to puke seeing supposed defenders of the Republic refuse to actually step up and stand and fight.

Fuck the two party system. For this issue, there are only two types of people..those that understand what DHS is preparing for, and those that help them prepare.

Ashram, Brandon Phelps is a DOWNSTATE Democrat, a whole different animal from a Chicago Democrat.

Concealed Carry in Illinois is and has long been his baby. I am sure he knows that fully automatic weapons are, after a great deal of hoop jumping, form filling, fee paying, etc., at least technically legal in some parts of our country. I don't believe they are, in Illinois, federal permit or no.

So few people bother to apply for the federal permits that full auto weapons are FUNCTIONALLY illegal, even if thts not true in any and all cases 100% of the time. Besides, the price of the weapons themselves is obscene, thousands of dollars each. It's nuts.

I'm with the "they have to pass a law, so lets not take anything they offer" faction. The Dems have made gun owners grovel for everything for years, so it's time to turn the tables. All carry is legal everywhere, almost, or the Federal appeals court has said we go to constitutional carry.

Dems, keep your wish list in your pockets. It's NOT going to happen as it has in the past. Get rid of those FOID cards, too, while you're at it.
