I am a tax preparer. The government subsidizes young single mothers who come in with $10,000 in earnings, no taxes paid, four children with different last names (I mean four different last names) and walk away with a 10-12 thousand dollar "refund" from child tax credits and "earned income credits". Next year the child credit is cut in half - they will complain at the top of their lungs and probably get Obama to reinstate the $1000 credit.
I'd rather someone drop a house on her. Only way to be sure.

The Illinois Staye Rifle Associatio. conducted a poll of some 4500 gun owners. The results are interesting. A return of 95 percent of gun owners surveyed responded that they OPPOSE licensing.
So how does the ISRA and its cohort the NRA continue with this political lie where they keep saying that gun owners want license to carry? How can those organizations keep supporting legislation creating carry licensing structure in this state where none exists currently? How can other so called "leadership" in the gun rights advocacy here in this Chicago dominated state continue to support licensing legislation?
Seems to me gun owners spoke clearly and decisively on the license point. Any ideas on how the ISRA avoids undermining its own poll and its own membership?
I know. I know. It could actually LISTEN and actually stand and fight for Constitutional Carry instead of acting like it is simething to avoid at all costs. It could actually stop acting kinda like DiFi and accept that's its position just doesn't get the votes.....

Gee, Diane, given the choice of supporting and upholding the U.S. Constitution or following the results of an opinion poll, the wiser choice would be the U.S. Constitution. Many sixth graders already know this. You would think that a U.S. Senator would know this, but apparently not. I frankly question your competence, judgement and fitness for continued service.
I don't know about "playing" dead, but many things about this course of action stinks as if something was either already dead or dying from gas gangrene.
