You know, these days you just can't trust jack booted thugs to be CREDENTIALED jack booted thugs.

So, shoot first and ask questions later. From Scrips Media:

COOPER CITY, Fla. - A Cooper City family awoke to the sounds of three men posing as FBI agents on Wednesday.

The three men were caught on home surveillance video.

They were all wearing t-shirts with the words FBI on them and had fake badges around their necks.

A father, mother and three children were all inside, when the heard the men say "FBI, police! Open up!"

The mother called the real police and the father grabbed his gun.

The father fired a warning shot and the three men took off running.

The families front door was damaged by the intruders.

The suspects are still on the loose.

The inevitable result of years of increasingly militarized police forces and jack-booted-thuggery: criminals emulating their tactics and ever more weary citizens deciding not to take the crap any more. They reap what they sow.

They better faxing the warrants ahead of their arrival, or God will be sorting them out.

This fake cop thing is getting to be a regular occurrence.

What's gonna happen to the homeowner who shoots a real cop as he's coming into the wrong house?

It's not like that isn't happening on a regular occurrence too.

I wouldn't care if they were real feds or pseudo-feds. I have a phone, email and a doorbell. If they choose not to use them, they can catch lead. This "Search BAM warrant!" sh-- needs to end. And if EVERY house was the WRONG house, criminal invasions would go away too.
When I think about how caring our elected officials WANT to appear, and then have no problem when we the voters are scragged and fragged... because it goes on and on...

Expect more of this. Uniforms aren't that hard to come by, and wearing them might make interfering neighbors hesitate a little. Real law enforcement shows up during daylight hours in a marked car, in uniform, with a warrant that can be confirmed by telephone. All others are considered dangerous criminals who will be confronted and held for real law enforcement/coroner. Anyone in ninja suits (masks) who breaks in to my home at night yelling "POLICE","FBI", "ATF" gets what they have coming, as I must assume that this is a ploy by home invaders to delay my lawful defense.

Cheers.

The residents did the smart thing. Criminals know that most people will let the law into their house.

Anyone who tries to break into my house will be shot dead.
They did the right thing, and it don't matter who it is.

I've got recorded video surveillance around my home, also. And the same response will occur should anyone approach my door and claim to be LE.

I am retired, and quiet. There is no reason for any LE to come to my home and try to break in. Especially in an unmarked car with a female carrying a purse as look-out.

My wife will be on the phone to 9-1-1 while I am putting .40 holes in my front door.

BTW, I also have dogs and bars on all the doors and windows (came with the house, not my idea, but cool!). Anyone attempting to get into my house will need the jaws of life to enter, and a body bag to leave.

No knock = shoot first, ask no questions.
I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

The fact that we can watch the video, and see the action from two perspectives proves the utility of cameras on our residences. If you can see people on a monitor, you have and advantage. If you can see them from more than one angle, even better. Cameras are cheap, relatively.

The owners may or may not have had the ability to watch the action from within... it didn't say... but that's what I like. One monitor in the bedroom, and one in a spot downstairs where we can watch without being watched.

DVR lives in a cubby. FAKE DVR lives where confiscation will result in the frustration of thieves of all sorts that wish to use it, or destroy it, for whatever purposes, "legal" or otherwise.

Yes, FBI in full masked regalia. -- Like this raid in Montana against LEGAL firearms kit manufacturer - Richard Celata. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/july2006/060706manraided.htm

I belong to the "shoot first, sort out the details later crowd" too! However, instead of shooting pistol calibers. which only requires level II body armor to defeat, I will be shooting .30 cal at a bit over 3000fps that defeats Level IV armor.

Also, shoot for the upper, inner thighs (femoral arteries and/or sex organs) and the head!

Remember that drywall will not stop bullets and "they" usually line up on either side of the door!

Only when a majority of the people begin exercising their fundamental right to self=defense - even against armed government thugs - will we be able to thwart the execution of these unconstitutional "no knock" warrants.

Pile the scumbags up like cordwood!

When they went for the window, I would've emptied my mag on the sonsabitches, right through the glass.
Fake feds or real, nobody has the right to do this. You wanna talk? Execute a search warrant? Ring the damn door bell, and maybe we can talk like civilized people. Otherwise, get some buckets to catch the lead.

Notice the Mercedes SUV they were driving, wealthy burglars.

Whichever sex the 3rd member is, s/he'd better spend some time on the treadmill before they flee their next job, because the driver almost ran him/her over with the open door of the car as he backed out.

The humorous thing about this is, someone thought it was a good idea. At least until the gunfire began. I don't suppose anyone in the burglary group saw that as a possibility but it sure ended up being a huge oversight in their planning.

Not only does the third look female, it's a good chance she's used to carrying a baby-carrier - I had to look several times before discerning that it's a purse or just a bag...

Definitely female...

There is no Gestapo in the US, but crooks posing as cops pre-date 9/11 by about Ø2 decades; Wolfgang DRUDE posed as a CA Game Warden to steal guns (then sued Shasta Country Sheriff’s Office when he got bit by a bat while locked up) and a gang of hitmen posed as Sacramento County Probation Officers when they killed a drug dealer (and his entire family).
Before you go abusing the “jackboot” reference, maybe try check just one fact. Just sayin’.
