What is it about Oakland California? Nobody can hit what they're aiming at.

I mean, really.

Hey, Mike; that's what comes of using Hollyweird flicks as training videos.

Urban sniper operations... It was going to re-surface eventually.

Many states have left themselves vulnerable to the coming tide -- effectively bankrupt, they will need to cut back on law enforcement personnel, equipment, training. Indoctrinated into believing that law enforcement will protect them, the bulk of the population will receive a major shock when they realize that the cops can't even protect themselves. It won't be long now before car-bombs, kidnap-and-murder, as well as IEDs are deployed specifically against law enforcement in the U.S. (Mexico serves as a stark warning on what this will look like).

God keep America.

Maybe that's why they're the "Only Ones"... So no one actually gets hurt ;-)

Given that it's Oakland, in the land of fruits and nuts and plenty of both, one has to wonder if the cops were really targeted or if it was just routine everyday Oakland gunfire. I say that only partially in jest by the way.
The real issue though is that the article demeaned snipers. How dare they?

Already happening. The police in one town in California are getting some of the stuff on that list from a local motorcycle gang.

Sounds like someone hasn't zeroed in their scope.

They were being shot at, but did not see the weapon. Was it a .380 snubby? Who knows if it was even a rifle? Yet they say it was a "sniper".

The result suggests it may have been a child with a pistol, plinking. Any sniper with even a single day of training at a range would have had different results.

While the results do not fit the headline, the term "sniper" does re-inforce the MSM fantasy narrative.

It's funny how you all damn a whole state by the actions of one nut. Pick a state and you'll find some sicko there. It merely a reflection of what kind of nation we have become. If CA falls then you are all screwed. It maybe to late for all you arm chair rambo's. I live here and will defend it with my life unlike a lot of you who ran to the hills like cowards. You'll only fight for your back yard, no wonder we are such a divided country. now go hunker in your bunker you troglodites, the real fight for freedom is going on in California and there are those of us who will not let it fall with out a fight.

Wow - Anon@19:45 seems to be a mite touchy...

As for me, I haven't damned a whole state by the actions of one nut - I've damned it by the actions of a state full of them.

I don't say this lightly - I lived there in the past and loved the weather, the scenery. My Boy is there now, as are some very dear friends.

Sadly, they are all hopelessly outnumbered by the thugs, fruits and nuts.

CA is where it is today because of decades of its citizens electing lefty pols who gave them what they wanted -- vegan bread and cruelty-free circuses.

Would the last sane person out please turn off the lights?

Perhaps it was really just a warning...

Well, this is California; if the "sniper" was typical, he was pulling too far to the left.

Former Oakland resident. Used to live two blocks from the site of the recent shoot-out. Have a close friend (used to stay at his place when out of work) who lives close to this 20. First, there is no "sniper". I assure you. They were shooting at the police, for sure. That a sniper does not make. They'll shoot at you with whatever the f*ck they've got; from wherever. Trained at a range? You've got to be kidding. That area's called "GhostTown" and "Dogpatch" for a reason.
