As American as apple pie and baseball. Well, maybe apple pie.

"A Citi Field security guard tries to tackle a young man carrying a Mexican flag who ran onto the field in the seventh inning of the New York Mets vs the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game at Citi Field in New York, Friday, July 30, 2010."

Men run into outfield carrying Mexican flags

NEW YORK — Two men carrying Mexican flags ran into the outfield during the seventh inning of the New York Mets' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday night at Citi Field.

The men were apprehended by security fairly quickly without much incident.

Before the game, about 40 demonstrators across the street from the ballpark protested Arizona's immigration law, chanting "Oppose racism!" and "Boycott Arizona!"

Others stationed closer to the subway exit handed out leaflets that requested Major League Baseball move next year's All-Star game out of Phoenix.

"It's not going to distract me. I'm here to play baseball," Diamondbacks interim manager Kirk Gibson said after his team's 9-6 victory over the Mets. "You have an opinion, I have an opinion. They have the right to say what they want, but it's no distraction."

Perhaps we should open games now with the Mexican National Anthem. Here it is, with lyrics, so y'all can practice singing it after Reconquista.

Coro (Chorus):

Mexicanos, al grito de guerra
el acero aprestad y el bridón.
Y retiemble en sus centros la Tierra,
al sonoro rugir del cañón.
¡Y retiemble en sus centros la Tierra,
al sonoro rugir del cañón!

Mexicans, at the cry of war,
make ready the steel and the bridle,
and the earth trembles at its centers
at the resounding roar of the cannon.
and the earth trembles at its centers
at the resounding roar of the cannon!

Estrofa I (First Stanza):

Ciña ¡oh Patria! tus sienes de oliva
de la paz el arcángel divino,
que en el cielo tu eterno destino
por el dedo de Dios se escribió.
Mas si osare un extraño enemigo
profanar con su planta tu suelo,
piensa ¡oh Patria querida! que el cielo
un soldado en cada hijo te dio.

Let gird, oh Fatherland, your brow with olive
by the divine archangel of peace,
for in heaven your eternal destiny
was written by the finger of God.
But if some enemy outlander should dare
to profane your ground with his step,
think, oh beloved Fatherland, that heaven
has given you a soldier in every son.

¡Guerra, guerra sin tregua al que intente
De la patria manchar los blasones!
¡Guerra, guerra! Los patrios pendones
En las olas de sangre empapad.
¡Guerra, guerra! En el monte, en el valle
Los cañones horrísonos truenen,
Y los ecos sonoros resuenen
Con las voces de ¡Unión! ¡Libertad!

War, war without quarter to any who dare
to tarnish the coat of arms!
War, war! Let the national banners
be soaked in waves of blood.
War, war! In the mountain, in the valley,
let the cannons thunder in horrid unison
and may the sonorous echoes resound
with cries of Union! Liberty!

Antes, patria, que inermes tus hijos
Bajo el yugo su cuello dobleguen,
Tus campiñas con sangre se rieguen,
Sobre sangre se estampe su pie.
Y tus templos, palacios y torres
Se derrumben con hórrido estruendo,
Y sus ruinas existan diciendo:
De mil héroes la patria aquí fue.

O, Motherland, ere your children, defenseless
bend their neck beneath the yoke,
may your fields be watered with blood,
may their foot be printed in blood.
And may your temples, palaces and towers
collapse with horrid clamor,
and may their ruins continue on, saying:
Of one thousand heroes, here the Motherland began.

¡Patria! ¡Patria! Tus hijos te juran
Exhalar en tus aras su aliento,
Si el clarín con su bélico acento
los convoca a lidiar con valor.
¡Para ti las guirnaldas de oliva!
¡Un recuerdo para ellos de gloria!
¡Un laurel para ti de victoria!
¡Un sepulcro para ellos de honor!

Motherland! Motherland! your children swear to you
to breathe their last for your sake,
if the bugle with its warlike accent
persuades them to battle with courage.
For you, olive wreathes!
A memory for them of glory!
For you, a laurel of victory!
A tomb for them of honor!

That's called machismo, and they just can't help it. And that fact may work in our favor.

My advice to the colonizers: keep it up. Keep getting in our faces and telling us you intend to take over. Keep telling us you'll outbreed us or take the Southwest back by force. Keep waiving your Mexican flags.

Keep it up, and see what happens.

Quite the glorious warlike anthem. Isn't the Mexican government getting spanked by some cartels practicing 4th Generation Warfare?

Hmm.

Now, it would be C-O-O-L if a brave soul did that with the threeper flag...

Just sayin, it would be WAY COOL.

Heck, if I lived near a MLB stadium, I'd take the rap for the chance to do that...

I think we should all burn as many Mexican flags in front of as many cameras as we can.

Hmmmm.... The Mexican National Anthem distilled down to 35-words-or-less:

Mexican citizens exist for the benefit of Mexico; if they all have to die to keep the system alive, well, 'bummer, Dude'.

Mexican anthem includes their own version of "Hitlers salute". Practice that too.

Not exactly "peace, love & why can't we all get along?"

When was it written?

"The Star-Spangled Banner" is often criticized for being too martial in nature. It mentions rockets, bombs. Nasty warlike Francis Scott Key. Shame on you!
I for one had no idea about this little ditty, with blood and steel and no mercy.
Who says we can't learn useful things from other cultures?
The rarely-heard second verse of the Star-Spangled talks about the brave patriots' blood washing away the foul tyrants polluting footprints.
Hey! They stole our stuff!

Oh, sitrep for the East Coast.
About 20 illegal imigrants from 18 different Latin countries were arrested here. Two had serious drug dealing convictions and *had already been deported once.*
Say it with me now: The System isn't working.
On purpose?
They have to have a good bust now and then to lull us back to sleep.
That was the reasoning behind, oh, I don't know... Waco?

Interesting; maybe North Americans should begin adopting this motto.

Stefan Molyneux once said that to defat evil one only has to expose it.

The 3%'s and the Tea Parties need photogenic, well-spoken individuals to calmly bring up facts such as these in front of the TV cameras.

Another tactic is apeing your enemy's actions, without rage, without anger, but with a lot of irony so that the masses sitting in front of their TVs realize how ridiculous it all is.

So, they set a Mexico flag topping an overtuened U.S. one? Applaud their use of freedom of expression and do the same in reverse. When they protest, act shocked and denounce them as hypocrites.

Emigration reform? Of course, 100% in favor, the USA model is broken. Let's adopt a superior one...like Mexico's.

Expose evil, bring the truth to the surface, use lots of irony, act cooly, calmly and rational while delivering the cold, hard, horrid facts.

And remember to bring up the seething, endemic Mexican racism at every opportunity. Two can play at that game.

Why do they the Mexis hate us so bad....

fact is we are supplying them with our generous welfare, and entry level jobs that our teenagers and folks that aspire to do labor used to be able to have and hold...so why do they hate us...

I can see why they would think that our society is stupid, but I don't understand why they hate us so badly...

When it finally does come, add another to the list of enemies..

It's time. It's truly time.

It's time for USA loving Americans to run out on that field and beat these son-of-bitches within an inch of their lives. Any cops or security who attempt to intervene should get the same.

Do we, the citizens of this great country, have the will and the means to take back our country?

Our (i use that term loosely) gov't makes no attempt to stop illegal immigration, instead, they welcome it as another step towards socialism. We are threatened by these latin gangs, their numbers are into the tens of thousands or greater. Our own law enforcement can't deal with them, they are vastly outnumbered.
Many of the illegals have no intention of staying and becoming citizens, yet we are forced by the gov't with laws to accept them and their customs, religions, dress, languages, etc. We are being forced to give up our American lifestyle to absorb into theirs, not the other way around. How many new languages can you print on a can of beans?
There are millions of good immigrants, myself included, who love this country and worship all it stands for. But as far as these others who have to wave their flags in our faces and scream at us, telling us how bad we are, a quick trip to the border is all that is required. And make sure they don't take any of our greenbacks with them.
What is going on here is cultural neutering, and we're the ones losing our balls.

This is just the beginning in NYC. I had friends and relatives say that some mexicans were making gestures and comments to passersby in the streets throughout the last 3 days. I guess it has not worked in Staten Island where they were probably getting tuned up for making gestures and comments. In Queens these hoards of mostly mexican criminals reside in Corona, Jackson Heights, Elmhurst, Woodside. At least we have them concentrated in one section where they can be easily dealt with.

That's right, all you illegals, keep it up. And that includes all the illegal anchor babies. Keep protesting what ya ain't got, keep pissing off the legal citizenry with your ungrateful attitudes and see what it gets ya. You won't like it when we finally get mad and get enough. Yer time's acomin...

BTW, all you *legal* immigrants, welcome aboard.

The only reason things have gotten this far out of hand, is due to the compicity of American big business(hiring union-busting wetbacks) and "Progressive" politicians trolling for votes among the ethnic septic tanks. Durning the Carter years, leftist judges hamstrung our MIGRAS who tried to intercept these invaders at bus stations and other points of entry. The CA DMV issued them drivers licenses with no questions asked, and business people and building contractors in SoCal employed them because they worked for less. So here we are. Now every metropolitan area of Amerika is awash with the flotsam and jetsam of Mexico, Central America, China, Somalia, etcetera. Go reread the Matthew Braken article at WRSA and stop your rediculous chest thumping. When I was a Deputy Sheriff, I had to break up a large fight on an Orange County beach between LaRazas and Gringos. I felt like Custer at the Little Big Horn. And this happened over 30 years ago! Get prepared, get with your own tribe, and develop plans and tactics to counter these Reconquesta types. They hate us and were brought up to hate us. And, they're here.

You all got the wrong impression here. The people that are protesting aren't the illegals, they are "legal" residents or "US citizens". Second, third, fourth generation, it doesn't matter, they are still, first and foremost, Mexicans (or Cubans, or Salvadoreans, or pick whatever Latin American country you wish). So, this "if you're legal welcome to my country" crap is just that, crap. It's a power move by hispanics whatever their technical citizenship happens to be at the moment. It's the Demographics, baby! There won't be a war of "restoration", it'll be a war of conquest and separation.

Wonder if that dude in the pic carrying the flag yelled 'Ole' when the referee missed the catch?
