Kurt Hofmann forwards this with the comment, "There is no depth of depravity to which these creatures will not sink."

This cartoon was approvingly posted by the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence, the principal advocates of a government monopoly of force. Truly it is better to be despised by the despicable than admired by the admirable.
Of course the actual cartoonist is a German national. Why wouldn't he be? Irony much?
Speaking of the "don't-you-dare-fight-the-government-even-when-they're-loading-you-into-boxcars" bunch, I sent Ladd Everitt of CSGV this New Year's greeting the other day:

My dear lad, Ladd --
We've nullified I-594. Whaddya gonna do about it, impotent collectivist studmuffin?

Happy New Year. Get ready for more of the same.

Oh, great. B. Toad Jones, the designated F&F cover-up toady, is being considered for a federal judgeship.

Potential payoff for criminal gang loyalty.
Another possible candidate is former U.S. Attorney B. Todd Jones, 57, who is now director of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF). Asked if he would consider the federal judgeship, Jones, who is black, said Friday, “It’s always a possibility. I am not prepared to say I am or am not interested.”

A more thoughtful post than I am used to seeing from the leftward arc of the circle.

Guns Confiscated after Man Seeks Insomnia Treatment

Yeah, lady, I think we noticed. The New York Times' Bloomberg state gun control law commercial.

Fight on Guns Is Being Taken to State Ballots
I sent this alleged journalist the following email:
What your story completely ignored:
1. The armed civil disobedience that the success of I-594 engendered. There was a rally at the state house in Olympia on 13 December with 2000 armed participants flouting the law and daring the authorities to do anything about it. They did not even get a permit, they just came a la the Bundy Ranch, defied the state, and then left peacefully. They were, however, prepared for any contingency and were risking everything by doing so.
2. The success of I-594 has exposed the fractures between the various "mainstream" gun rights groups such as the NRA and Alan Gottlieb's Second Amendment Foundation as well as between those groups and the "I Will Not Comply" movement gun owners who planned and executed the 13 December event (and plan to once again defy the law in June with a "no-background-checks" gun show in Yakima).
3. The success of state laws in CT, CO and NY have engendered massive non-compliance movements and events there, nullifying those laws and, once again, daring state authorities to do anything about it.
So, by completely ignoring the Law of Unintended Consequences and the indisputable fact of the hollowness of such Bloomberg "victories", your story is barely half of the truth.

Again, there is NO unconstitutional firearm law that we cannot nullify by armed civil disobedience, whether the NYT notices or not.

Law enforcement ‘desperately’ trying to hide use of surveillance cell towers

Law enforcement organizations around the country are desperate to keep the public unaware of the use of Stringrays, a surveillance technology that secretly monitors cell phones, even as courts and lawmakers are starting to fight back.

School denying permission for anti-gun PSA raises legal questions

Rejina Sincic, the director of a “Stop Gun Violence” public service announcement that has been widely criticized by gun rights advocates -- and even resulted in a challenge from a national “gun control” organization -- did not obtain advance school permission for the content of her video or the presence of a firearm prop. An advisory from North Oakland Community Charter School has disavowed any knowledge of Sincic’s intent, and further requested the school's name be removed from the video end credits.

"Shut Up Officer"

If law enforcement officers want respect they can start by deserving it and that means cutting the crap — including false claims of “outrageously dangerous” working conditions that in fact are less hazardous on a statistical basis than the guy who picks my household trash, an immediate and complete cessation of false arrests on bogus charges and full prosecution of each and every member of such an agency who is alleged to have abused someone in the line of their duties.

The Neocon Menace

The ideological movement that calls itself neoconservative is small, potent, and extremely dangerous. Oh, and its members don’t like lewrockwell.com, either. Founded by followers of Leon Trotsky, they liked Lenin but not Stalin, who killed Trotsky. These left-wing intellectuals now run the conservative movement and the Republican party. How the heck did that happen? They applied the tactics they learned from Bolshevism to become first, left-liberals, and then, new conservatives. In every mask, they have been very successful, but while there are important neo-liberals (Democratic neocons), they have had the most effect in the GOP.

"The Specter That Haunts America" (Southern Preposterous Lie Center makes another friend.)

A specter is haunting America. It is a group of influential individuals who harbor an intense hatred of such principles as private property, markets, limited constitutional government, and freedom itself. They are hardcore leftists who proudly list as their heroes communist agitators from the last century. They despise private property and advocate nationalization. They attempt to brainwash young children by distributing trinkets in public schools adorned with sayings by Karl Marx and Che Guevara. They advocate “urban Marxism” for America’s cities and “Third World communism” for the less-developed countries of the world. They employ shady figures from the sixties “protest movement” who admit to having committed violent crimes that caused the death of innocent bystanders. The head of the organization proudly accepted a lifetime achievement award named after an old communist revolutionary.

Rough night.

And running badly behind. Should have Part Two of my series on the parallels of 1774-1775 to 2014-2015 up later this afternoon.

Well, the only true "civil rights movement" I've experienced this past year is multi-racial, truly diverse, armed to the teeth and is nullifying gun control laws all over the country.

Pulitzer Prize Winning Professor Identifies Militias as "The Enemy Within"

And that's another problem for your side, Diamond--the principles on which our republic (as opposed to your "democracy") was founded are indeed worth dying for, in the eyes of many of us, and perhaps an even bigger problem for you, worth killing for. So if you and your "decent Americans" decide to appeal to "authoritarian government" to deal with us, bring it.

Malik Shabazz to Black Panthers: 2015 Time to Build Army, Go to Gun Range

"On this week’s episode of the official broadcast of the New Black Panthers Party’s “Black Power Radio,” the former national chairman of the New Black Panther Party and current national president of Black Lawyers for Justice, Malik Zulu Shabazz said 2015 is the time to “build up that army” and go “to the gun range.”

Collectivists come back around to the idea that the draft is good -- if it serves the collectivist state.

How can America inspire the Slacktivist Generation to action? The question is, of course, "action" in service to what and whom?

Another Happy New Year present.

McAuliffe Moves Ahead With Gun Control Agenda
We should expect the same result this year: a complete defeat for anti-gun advocates.
Well, don't get too confident. Remember that the elite of the GOP elephant herd is never more than headline away from stampede. Of course, Virginia does have one advantage. Alan Gottlieb lives just about as far from the Old Dominion on this continent as you can get, so any sellout on universal background checks would necessarily be handicapped by long distance.

A "Happy New Year" from an advocate of the death of you and yours. It takes a particular kind of self-obsessed fanaticism to wish blood and death on your own people.

From the allegedly previously-sane Paul Craig Roberts: "In my view, Russia and China owe it to the world to prevent the nuclear war that the neoconservatives who control US policy intend by simply replying in kind to Washington’s economic warfare. Russia and China hold all the cards. Not Washington. Russia and China should give no warning. They should just act. Indeed, instead of step by step, they should just let loose all barrels at once. With four US banks holding derivatives totaling many times world GDP, the financial explosion would be the equivalent to a nuclear one. The US would be finished, and the world would be saved. Larchmonter is correct. 2015 could be a very good year."
"Saved?" And the results of this "saving" would be what, exactly? Certainly it would involve mass casualties to American citizens as the country collapsed in an orgy of fratricidal, even cannibalistic, violence. "The world would be saved?" Just how is it that Roberts is defining his world? It takes a particular kind of self-obsessed fanaticism to wish blood and death on your own people. It is one thing to point out the dangers of the reckless behaviors of our self-appointed "elites." It is quite another to ADVOCATE the mega-deaths of innocents that such economic warfare successfully waged by the collectivist enemies of all Americans -- of all the peoples of the entire world -- would NECESSITATE. The society, OUR society (and presumably Roberts' own society), could not survive such a shock. The social and political disintegration caused would have a body count -- in our own country alone -- well beyond the global total of both world wars of the 20th Century combined. Our people, HIS people, would die by the tens if not hundreds of millions.
I checked. This is not April Fool's Day. This man is serious. He really wishes this upon his own friends and neighbors. Happy New Year's Day, folks. You, and everyone you know and care about, would be dead as a result of Roberts' advocated plan (or if "lucky," grubbing out a starvation existence in the rubble) but the "world would be saved." Doesn't that make you feel better? Aren't you now willing, now that Roberts has explained it all to you, to die with all your family, friends and loved ones, for his well-intentioned fatal vision?

The answer is, increasingly, yes.
