The dwindling Christian population of the Middle East could vanish completely within a decade unless the global community intervenes, say alarmed aid groups who say followers of the Bible are being killed, driven from their land or forced to renounce their faith at an unprecedented pace. The world has largely stood by as a dangerous tide of intolerance has washed over the region, according to a new study by the international Catholic charity Aid to the Church in Need. The study includes disturbing data about the plunging numbers of Christians in the part of the world that gave birth to the faith, and makes a dire prediction of what could happen.

It is rather more realistic to expect that Islam will be globally purged in the next century. Barnhart recently posted the final clip from the movie, "Dialogues Des Carmelites", portraying the martyrdom of a group of Carmelite nuns at the height of the Terror. The nuns were indeed killed, but by inflicting their deaths an essential component of the power of the French Revolution also broke.
The advocates of freedom will fight this war, and they will win. The only question is how many must die in the process.
Fewer would be better, but I'm not holding my breath. Because those who do not love freedom enough to put their lives on the line defending it will not survive what is coming.
Be that as is may, Jesus Christ is still on the throne. I also note the pattern of nations being turned over to their enemies when they turn their backs against the Everlasting.
Meanwhile, Christians in America are willfully orchestrating their own destruction.

The christians would do well to tool up and prepare to defend themselves. Helpless lambs that look to others to save them don't have much of a chance to survive in the long run. Oh, and those who do wish to survive should also start having lots of babies, instead of aborting them.
