"Kill 'em all, let God sort 'em out" cop philosophy alive and well in Utah.

"Bystander mistaken for suspect shot by police after man opens fire on officer."

Isn't it unusual for a Cop to hit anything with a handgun? The only thing missing from this story was the victim's dog also being shot.

The way that article is written and the words used by the police are all CYA and ment to make the cops look like they did nothing wrong. It reminds me of when my daughter was little and the excuses she made for breaking something or not doing her homework. Why cant they just have some integrity and admit their wrongdoing? I find it very hard these days to side with LE. They seem to have nothing in common with the average person anymore.

Damn! That's less than 5 miles from where I live. Midvale has always been a hotbed of Hispanics and illegals and other nefarious activity. Right up there with WVC (West Valley City).
And the shooting was probably done by one of the Unincorporated County po-po (cities that either have not incorporated within the county limits, or, due to city size/budget, choose not to have their own PD).
I have no love at all for those f**kers.
