Black-robed constitutional criminals make Ben Franklin's point about assassination.

History furnishes one example only of a first magistrate being formally brought to public justice. Every body cried out against this as unconstitutional. What was the practice before this, in cases where the chief magistrate rendered himself obnoxious? Why, recourse was had to assassination, in which he was not only deprived of his life, but of the opportunity of vindicating his character. It would be the best way, therefore, to provide in the Constitution for the regular punishment of the executive, where his misconduct should deserve it, and for his honorable acquittal, where he should be unjustly accused. -- Benjamin Franklin at the time of the consideration of the Constitution' quoted in "Impeachment and Assassination" by Josh Chafetz.

And Roberts stabs "conservatives" in the back yet again on Obamacare. Anyone still under the misguided delusion that voting "for the lesser of two evils" is an effective strategy? Thanks be to God that Roberts was appointed by an "R" .

Well, as we all know, assassination is the preferred path of the Left.

Short version: we are f****d.

BF's point is that the Constitution does (or actually 'ought to', given it was still being argued at the time) provide a better means for removing a magistrate/executive than assassination.

I know your itchin' to use them, but keep your weapons holstered, lest you be judged for the poverty of your arguments.

Today marks the day that America has finally died. While politicians and cops have been interpreting laws as they see fit for years, the highest court in the land has now openly admitted that laws are completely arbitrary and can be interpreted however the Mandarin class pleases: "In this instance, the context and structure of the Act compel us to depart from what would otherwise be the most natural reading of the pertinent statutory phrase." I fear the time for preparation grows short and we will be called to action soon.

"In this instance, the context and structure of the Act compel us to depart from what would otherwise be the most natural reading of the pertinent statutory phrase."

That could just as easily be applicable to the next critical Second Amendment case before the court.

Such a flowery way of saying "We know the statute quite clearly says otherwise, but we don't give a sh*t."

I'm still only in my 30s, but I am truly despairing at the thought that I will never live to see any of these people ever held to account.

Dan in Commie CO- agree 100%

There's a fitting saying I read one day; "Someone who is ruled by the discretion of another is, to that extent, a slave."

Dan in CO.

The Republic died quite a while ago. About the same time as the Bush bailouts, Patriot Act, etc.

The SCOTUS ruling merely woke people up to that fact.

Obamacare is a misnomer, the current beneficiary of the (Un)Affordable Care Act is the Healthcare Industrial Complex (Big Insurance, Hospitals and Pharma) Just follow the money to see how this is just another scam pushed and passed by the corporate healthcare welfare queens. In the end these parasites will kill the host, but then the commies will get their single payer plan they have been dreaming of.

WROL is HERE. Thanks to POSOTUS, SCOTUS, and CONGRESS. We won't be VOTING our way out of THIS.
Stock up on essentials. You know what I mean.

No U.S. citizens were allowed to know what is in the SECRET Trade deal that we will be forced to live under. THIS IS UN-AMERICAN ! This is NOT the form of government that our Founders gave us and our men and women have fought and died for over the past 239 years. This is the NEW American Soviet Union or American Nazi Third Reich.
NEVER FORGET THIS TREASON.

Obamacare is here to stay. The Republicans will make noise but that is all. Congress will tinker with it as is done in the U.K.
Look for ways to monkey wrench. At this point in time the only enforcement is taking your income tax refund. Look for that to change in the next few years. I don't care what any want to be president says.
Maybe an underground medical industry. Already some doctors will see you for about 1/2 price if you don't have insurance and will pay cash.
