Busy day today trying to ascertain damage on the car.

In addition, I have to try to fix a leak on the clothes washer and replace the LP regulator on the turkey cooker I use to melt lead wheel weights and range scrap. So it is problematic whether I will have more posts anytime soon today. Perhaps later this evening.

HOWEVER!

How are things going on "Absolved"? I finally got around to reading Bracken's "Enemies" trilogy and [begin facetiousness]I HATE BRACKEN. HE IS COSTING ME A SHEDLOAD OF SLEEP!![end facetiousness] I cannot put it down. Good thing I have to let me tablet/reader recharge or I'd get no sleep at all. But it makes me want to read "Absolved" all the more. Any kind of a status update would be greatly appreciated.

Note to other SSI regulars: If you don't presently have Matt Bracken's "Enemies" trilogy (which he so generously GAVE us free access to last fall) GET IT! It would be cheap at 10X the price. If (like me a couple of weeks ago) you have already gotten the three books but have not yet gotten around to actually reading them, GET STARTED Bracken is a great writer - almost as good as our friend, Dutchman6.; February 9, 2014 at 11:48 AM
