Kurt Hofmann: Feinstein's 'assault weapon' ban would be tantamount to confiscation

"An "Intolerable Act."

If they push us off 'the cliff', I intend to grab one with each hand, and take them with me.

I have been encouraging anyone who'll listen, to prepare for confiscation. Many times the government has used incrementalism to shove unwanted laws and regulations down the throats of Americans. I do not believe this is one. International pressure for a New World Order agenda, requires a whole hog or nothing approach to gun confiscation. Their agenda cannot come to fruition with the unwashed masses of America still armed. The confidence currently being displayed by the gun grabbers is alarming. For one, they do not seem fear a civil war. That is insane, unless they know about a coming food crises that can be used as a weapon. Surrender your weapons and we'll feed you. This could also explain the demonization of preppers. Something is hidden here and we need to know what it is. Soon!

Oh my goodness! What to do...what to do??

While I'm just positive that every true American, every real country loving' patriot will stand in line for days if need be to obey all loving, caring orders issued by our truly paternalistic government -- as you just know that they only have our best interests at heart! -- I don't know if I am really that patriotic...to the ruling regime. I guess I'll have to sit in a corner, suck my thumb trembling in fear as I evaluate my options...

I called Feinstein's office and they actually verified this. There's a 1 feature test, and anything banned will have to be registered under the NFA.

The staffer didn't know if it would registered under a newly created category or as a machine gun.

So they're telling us to become felons, or let them register all of our guns complete with a photo, fingerprint, etc. and the requirement of CLEO sign-off.

ADDITIONALLY, it offers lots of extra, dedicated funding for ATF to conduct the registration.

Diane has done her best to make sure that this is not a mere inconvenience that we can survive like last time, but a truly intolerable power grab that will enable them to slowly disarm us over time.

Got "Enemies Foreign & Domestic" for Christmas. The parallels are positively creepy.

Sadly mike I belive that our "government" belives that only a very few will fight. That we will be "crushed" brutaly and publicly, and that the rest will fall in line. "They" are going to do this thing, and nothing we say or do can stop it. The war has allready started.

and they will enforce this how ?

Go for it.

If they want our guns to be EVIL then it's time to fire up the machine shops and make them real machine guns and how about silencers too. If they want to classify my target shooting toys as ASSAULT WEAPONS than by GOD I will turn it into one. Let them try to take it if they cannot hear me when I shoot them.

Swift, I would bet money that you are on to something.

What a great way for them to force gun owners to turn them in. They cause a food shortage, then:

"Give us your guns, and you can have MREs".

Does anyone believe they'll actually keep their word in an emergency, though?

I can see them taking the guns and then arresting the owners anyway.

Why?

Because we have knowledge of how to use those guns effectively. They won't want good people to be relieving their enforcers of their guns to arm themselves like the resistance had to do in WWII France.

The left is full of evil people, but we have to remember that they can read history too. They're going to try to avoid the same mistakes that Stalin, Mao and the others made.
