Late entry to the Neville Chamberlain Appeasement Awards

Just received this email from a faithful reader:
I know some of y’all are CTD fans… They just posted this on their Facebook page.
“Cheaper Than Dirt! is suspending online sales of firearms effective immediately. We are reviewing our policy internally, and will continue to be the leader in the outdoor industry with our full line of gear and accessories.”
There are cheaper places out there anyway….
LATER: And another -- Walmart removes Bushmaster rifle from website after Sandy Hook shootings

Cheaper than Dirt is also gouging on prices for Magpul PMAGS. $29.97 on Gen 2 PMAGs.

Elsewhere, pre-Newtown the going price was about $12.50 for Gen 2 PMAGs.

Not with a bang but with a whimper.

RKBA is the ONLY enumerated right the founders saw fit to provide with special protection - i.e. it is the only right that carries a specific injunction against infringement. Reckon why the founders did that? Could the RKBA be the single right MOST CRITICAL to maintaining and ensuring liberty?

there's going to be a lot of cries about price gouging. let it be made clear now that 1) CTD has systematically higher prices because their service is, historically, excellent and 2) basic economics tells us why prices rise in such a crunch.

"gouging" does not exist. it is not a real thing. no modern economist believes this fairytale anymore, not even the ones who are wrong about everything else.
