If I make false statements to Congress or the JustUs Dept., I go to jail. The same needs to apply to .gov agents too.

Dennis Burke's false statements to DOJ in support of their answer to Sen Grassley is the least of his problems.

Arrogant liars ... every damn one of them. They've shown by their actions as well as by their words a total disrespect for the Constitution, the laws, and the Congress of the United States. Only time will tell if they get by with it.

This past summer I read the the Texas Rangers were also investigating the gun running. Has anyone heard any more on this?

" “We’re not assigning blame,” said one DOJ official, who spoke on condition of anonymity."

I guess I'm just terribly confused about the function of DOJ. Multiple crimes were committed over a span of several months by multiple persons, some of whom were/are government officials. Isn't it the DOJ's responsibility to assign blame when a crime has been committed?

"This is the operative statement. The others are inoperative." -- Ron Ziegler, Nixon's press secretary –April 17, 1973

So.... Gunwalker parallels Watergate on that one.

" "I would apologize to the Post, and I would apologize to Mr. Woodward and Mr. Bernstein. .... We would all have to say that mistakes were made in terms of comments. I was overenthusiastic in my comments about the Post, particularly if you look at them in the context of developments that have taken place." " -- Ron Ziegler - May 1, 1973

And that one as well.

I wonder if Obama knows this one?

"Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it." -- George Santayana

There was a brief time that I held a bit of hope that justice would be done, I don't see any possibility at this time. Issa and Grassley made a little noise but won't follow through, just more proof that r's and d's are 2 side of the same coin and members of the criminal class covering misdeeds, felonies, and murders by their fellows.

There is no question We The People are out hanging in the wind.

There is not a single branch, section, department, or check and balance, in OUR government, designed purposefully to protect the rule of law, that has not been corrupted or turned to the purpose of consolidating absolute power in the hands of a few over the many.

Holder and his fellow ilk, from the highest office of the land on down to the lowliest tyrant at our town hall are an existential threat to the very existence of America.
This is not going to end well.
Boy are we all in for a fight.
Every damn one of us.
