Black Friday firearms sales sends Brady Bunch into mourning -- and self-delusions. Paranoid is as paranoid does.

I miss Paulie. He had his stuff together a lot better than that paranoid nut Henigan.

Courtesy of a link at Keepandbeararms.com, we have this bit of good news: "Guns Were A Big Seller On Black Friday."

Gun dealers flooded the FBI with background check requests for prospective buyers last Friday, smashing the single-day, all-time high by 32%, according to bureau records.

Deputy Assistant FBI Director Jerry Pender said the checks, required by federal law, surged to 129,166 during the day, far surpassing the previous high of 97,848 on Black Friday of 2008.

The actual number of firearms sold last Friday is likely higher because multiple firearms can be included in a transaction by a single buyer. And the FBI does not track actual gun sales.

But not everyone is happy.

Dennis Henigan, acting president of the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence, said he was "skeptical" of the Black Friday gun surge.

"I think there may be no real significance at all," Henigan said. "It's possible that gun companies are just catching on to creating a Black Friday frenzy for themselves."

Huh?

Is he, like, saying that the industry has the ability to make up NICS checks, or that they went out and bought a bunch of guns themselves so they could get a headline?

Sheesh, and they call US "paranoid"?

Cant see the forest for the trees can they?Every Patriot in the country who was watching this NDAA thing progress knew they would pass it.No person in their right mind wants to see violent confrontation in America. However the powers that be seem dedicated to forcing the issue. To bad Washington politicians didnt study U.S.history before the liberal faggots started printing the textbooks!

I had the best Friday I have ever had at the gun show last weekend. Friday night alone my sales surpassed both previous shows. Henigan should just face the fact that they are losing. When they have to resort to selling their e-mail lists to raise money, well what can you say.

Whistling past a graveyard. That's all they're doing. You can't tell them anything because they do not live in the real world but in the world they WISH were real.

For people like Henigan the ship isn't sinking and 90% sunk it's 10% afloat.

To Anon @ 07:09 on 10/3;
Leftists do not understand history. Read Marx (or at least the Cliff's Notes version) and try to figure what history sources he derived his conclusions from. You cannot. Marxism is a religion. Worse it is a religion that continues despite all evidence refuting its tenets. While no testable fact in the Bible has ever been refuted, no part of Marxism is based in historical reality. Marxism is a pipe dream and its adherents psychotics who live is the castles in those pipe dreams. George Bernard Shaw is supposed to have said/written “Some see things as they are and ask ,why? I dream of things that never were and ask ,why not?,” That's all very well and good but when you try to explain to them "why not" they are incapable of understanding.

Henigan is just another pencil necked, progressive/fascist.

Nothing to see here, move along.

Nobody mentions the potential number of guns that changed hands with no "check" at all. I don't buy guns from dealers, period.
