First, I'd like to have a little theme music appropriate to the subject on an improvised Mexican trumpet.
Now, the next videos comprise a short survey of stupid grenade tricks -- with real, not improvised, hand grenades.
Here's a reminder. Blowing an improvised Mexican bugle is safer than blowing things up with an improvised Mexican hand grenade.

We actually had a guy do that in my basic training ... bounced right off the wall. Drill picked it up and dropped on the other side of the wall. Bye, bye trainee. Then, a few months later when I was suppose to go to my permanent duty station, they lost my records, I was volunteered to do range duty until they found them ... and some dumbass trainee almost blew my face off.
With enough cheap mescal, you can learn to play trumpet like Miles Davis in jist five minitz. ;^)
MALTHUS
Like Forrest's mama used to day "Stupid is as stupid does".
Once you pull the pin, Mr. Gernade is not your friend.
P.S. Don't do anything illegal, or stupid. More importantly don't do both at the same time.
"When a grenade bounces off the tree into your hole, you don't stay in your hole."
You can leave a grenade with the pin pulled, behind as a diversion to slow down people pursuing you. After pulling pin,(and holding down the lever) slip the works into an open and empty tin can(make sure it fits, snugly, BEFORE pulling the pin) and attached to some fishing line or trip wire. When they hit the wire, it pulls the grenade out. Make sure also the tin can is fastened so IT doesn't move, and camoflage the whole thing. Charles would do it to us innumerable times.
