ATF offers hundreds of buyouts.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering hundreds of buyouts and early retirement packages to help avoid layoffs or furloughs, a bureau official said on Wednesday.

Well that certainly makes the disappearance and absorption scenario under increased security more likely.

Looks like you were right Mike. They'ye going to bury future activities and programs of this nature under Homeland security and those rather opaque walls.

This is worse than I thought and the intentions are now clear. All of the trip wires have now been tripped. Talking and elections just ended as viable means of resolving these matters.

They aren't hiding their activities from the bad guys anymore, they'er trying harder to hide them from us because we are the targets.
