I call this Rockwellesque image "Informed Skepticism." An apparent Three Percenter watches Glen Beck.

My thanks to Irregular Stan for forwarding this:

There are interesting elements to this Norman Rockwellesque photo.

The living room is filled with arms and ammo, yet the curtains are open, so this man cares not what his neighbors think, or, knows that they already agree with him, or has no neighbors to worry about.

He is a religious man (note the rosary and book up front) who watches Glen Beck.

He has what are called "newbies" or "neighbor guns" -- Mosins and SKS's -- to distribute to those well-intentioned yet unprepared silly people who will need to be armed upon that day.

He is in the process of building more 5.56 weapons.

My only criticism? His ammunition is not combat packed.

But then, I'm an anal sphincter about that, or so I'm told.

Only problem with this photo is he is watching the sellout windbag Glenn Beck.

MY only problem with the photo is that the window is un-armored. What good is all that armory when a sniper (police?) can take down our Good Citizen with one very easy shot.

Mike perhaps he hasn't combat packed that ammo, yet.
Who knows what interesting visuals Beck has tonight. He can get to packing during Red Eye.

Couldn't agree more...I wouldn't call anyone who watches that agent provocateur Beck "informed"...

I thought I was the only one who thought it would be a good idea to have a bunch of old Mosin Nagants around for shooting instruction and sentry guns and such. Some of them are wickedly accurate, considering, and the ammo is dirt cheap compared to other centerfire calibers.

Monitoring Beck is vital to keep up to date on the latest neo-con spin, as the informed 3%er knows.

Perhaps the ammo is in line to be put into bandoleers after all the gun smithing chores are done. I suspect that the ammo reloads are carefully stocked away somewhere else.

You irregulars are great, keep up the good work, and as always, please do call in to the Militia Round Table sometime at: http://www.militiaradio.com/ , Most Monday-Friday 8-10 pm central.

I wouldn't say that Beck is a sellout. What he appears to be, in my mind, is psycologically unable to accept the most unpleasant and yet most likely of the outcomes (or maybe he believes that he can't get openly say that yet). In addition, he overrates the good intentions of too many of our "fellow citizens", cough, cough, hack. That said, I will not condemn him as a sellout because he hasn't reached the same conclusions that I have at this point. I know that his work has done much around my area to bring people to our way of thinking. He gives them some of the data, we need to bring them up to speed the rest of the way.

Yeah Glenn-Ron-Paul-supporters-are-terrorists Beck... that one?

Great photo, could stand some white balance correction though.

It also has the flag of the current leviathan state in the background as if that government can simply be corrected. That's not going to happen, it's an adult faerie tale to believe it can happen.

Best to resurrect this flag and make it into what it could have been instead of Lincoln's dream, what we have today.

The guy has too many unbuilt AR lower receivers too, someone, please help him finish up.

Holy crap, by the time by the time I would be able to stock up that much, the crisis would be here and gone!

I wonder if he's selling any...

You are not an anal sphincter about combat loading ammo. 60,000 rds plus, it is not practicable to stripper clip/mag load all that ammo. That's just what's ON HAND. If it is neccessary to use 10,000 rds immediately in a fire fight, it is probably not going to make a difference having the rest combat loaded. In my worst shoot out in Cambodia, I used up about 4,000 rds and it lasted three days. Most of it was for the M-60. Hint, to all and sundry: Don't shoot until you actually have a target.

Ah, so gun shows go Tupperware party after show venues demand legally unnecessary background checks on private party sales?

Looks like a macho flasher to me.

Very, very poor personal security measures in any event.

Don't ask... don't tell. And for crying out loud, don't take pictures to post on the internet.

Beck has come a long way over the course of the past couple years. I think there's still hope for him. Maybe some of you did, but I did not come to these convictions over night.

I likewise agree with the poster about the flag choice.

Andrew here.

Rhetoric notwithstanding,
Beck cannot be trusted. He has openly dissed supporters of Ron Paul and Debra Medina. His multi-billionaire collectivist media bosses are the final arbiters of his dance and tune, and they pay him very very highly. Is he, unwittingly or not, controlled opposition? Maybe.

Where's the loving family? I'd have expected to see the 2 and 3 year olds joyfully learning how to handle lethal weapons, just in case Dad gets taken out or jailed by the ebil gubmint and they need to be the next line of defense against the rise of Fascisti-Marxism.

Did'nt anyone notice the framing tool? A wicked device used in framing homes. Also where are the extra mags for the handguns?

@ Pat H

It's the responsibility of every non-bloodthirsty and non-psychopathic citizen to ATTEMPT to save the Republic through the established political process, ie, without bloodshed.

I swear, some of you people would've hung John Adams for being a "Tory traitor" or some similar bullshit...

Kinda looks like my place except for the see through window, and I only have loaner ARs. No need for cheap com-bloc weapons around here.

MPA dragon said...

My only problem is that he's finger bangin' that AR and his poor M14-type rifle sits over in a corner like a shy wallflower at the high school dance...

She needs some lovin' too! and she'll be more faithful than those AR type rifles!!

MPA dragon said...

Oh (and you can append this to my other comment or leave it separate at your whim, sir) also: whereas you term the Mosins and Simonov as newb or handout rifles, we add the ARs to that definition.

???

I counted 23 handgun mags in the pic.

That's 9 more than I have so I can't knock him.

I shall simply sigh an envious sigh and wonder what the guy's cache must look like~~ he is welcome to my neighborhood. Looks like the kind of guy you could wake up during the night and ask to borrow a cup of Willy Pete or a Claymore clacker and he'd shuffle back in a moment, bathrobe flapping along, and hand you what you asked for.

About Glen Beck - I used to read most of his stuff and liked him until he started going after various people in the Constitution movement, ridiculing a lot of them who did not think like he did. The last two straws were his blasting the tens of thousands of US citizens who doubt the US origin of Obongo's birth as being idiots, buffoons and lunatic fringe, and his raving about having lunch with George Clooney and what a really, really nice guy he was. These things seem to be efforts to say to the leftists, "See? I'm a lot like YOU, I think 'those people' are stupid, too!
To me, the guy is just an opportunist who used the rising tide of conservatism to lift himself up high enough to start kissing ass for the 'elite'.
But anyway - LOVE the photo.

So Beck does not march precisely to your specks? Does not agree with with your exact interpretation of the world? So that makes him a bad guy?

Did I wander onto a Socialist comments board?
No I checked the top still Sipsey Street Irregulars.

i criticised pat so you won't post my comment? Very telling. Never expected that.

Justin said...

Right on.

People will criticize anything. You can't please 'em all, I guess. This is beautiful, regardless of who is on the tube. I'd rather the thing be off, but who cares?

The flag- No matter what he had, someone would gripe. I'd personally prefer a bit of recognizable defiance, but who cares?

An armored window? He might be out in the country! If we had to worry about snipers at this point, anyone participating in this website is a target. Armored windows are a moot point when they can see you through the walls and shoot you through them as well.

The point is he's a patriot. He's armed. I don't care if he has the newest gas piston blah blah blah or a room full of Mosin-Nagants. He could have a bunch of ruger No. 1s, for all I care, or some single shot NEF 20 gauges. He's armed. All the rest is splitting hairs. It would be REALLY cool to see cases of those cool Liberator pistols.

By allowing this pic to go on the 'net, he's throwing down the gauntlet. We need some vocal, in-your-face types, we need some grey men.

Cool Pic, Mike. Thanks!
