Mighty Obama at the bat.

As much as I disagree with the concept of "Sarah Palin as the savior of the Republic," I had to laugh at this. It is well done, and funny as heck. Thanks to my cousin Larry for forwarding it.

As I watched this, I tried to envision Obama actually being a part of a team. You know, just one cog in the wheel.

I couldn't do it. That's where this fell flat for me.

Although he spouts this "one nation among many" stuff while overseas ("...but enough about me"), where he himself is concerned, I'm convinced that he thinks of himself in the third person-somehow above it all. It would be demeaning to him to have him be a mere part of the team.

Besides, to be true to the current liberal M.O., what you'd need to have taking place is umpires ejecting all the conservative players. Why? Because their ideas have no place and aren't worthy of consideration-so say the libs. In the world of ideas and truth, the libs lose every time on a level playing field. They know this. Which is why these people aren't interested in a level playing field, they want to CLEAR the playing field.

Ponder what this means for us, the little guy with the audacity to disagree.
