The conflationist beat goes on . . . "The military wing of the Tea Party movement." Well, well, here we are at "Mother Jones"

The conflationist lies keep coming.

The lying mothers at Mother Jones describe us as "the military wing of the Tea Party movement." and say:

The Three Percenter movement, led by Oath Keeper Mike Vanderboegh and named for the 3 percent of colonists said to have raised arms against the British, vows to reject any new gun laws: "We are the people that the collectivists who now control the government should leave alone if they wish to continue unfettered oxygen consumption," notes Vanderboegh's perversely humorous blog, the Sipsey Street Irregulars. "We are the Three Percent. Attempt to further oppress us at your peril. To put it bluntly, leave us the hell alone."

To which I responded:

Hey, collectivist morons . . .

Submitted by Mike Vanderboegh on Tue Mar. 2, 2010 2:22 PM PST.

I have nothing to do with the shill website ThreePercenter.org that you've linked to. It's a fake, a fraud, an excuse to attract converts and money, for what I have no idea. If you are looking for an actual Three Percenter website, at the moment there is only sipseystreetirregulars.blogspot.com.

That said, to call us the "military wing of the Tea Party movement" is the same as calling "MS-13, the military wing of MALDEF" or "Earth Liberation Front, the military wing of Al Gore." It is conflationist bullshit in the same vein as the Southern Preposterous Lie Center,

Not that you can be expected to be intellectually honest enough to acknowledge the difference. You are after all collectivists, and hence liars by trade, avocation and religious belief.

Mike Vanderboegh

Only one other question I have, Irregulars:

Am I REALLY "perversely humorous?"

"Perversely humorous"?

Put it this way - the late Jeffrey Dahlmer listed you as the person he would most like to take out for a bite of Chinese;
Barney Frank finds your humor too deep but likes to look at a poster of you that was made up from a Feebie surveillance photo, which has been photoshopped to include a skimpy mink 'posing strap';
Al Gore has to channel the spirit of Forest Gump to grasp the complexity of your truth and logic.

perverse? shucks, naw.

mother jones is small peanuts. here's mother jones' daily reach compared to politico. lewrockwell.com has also recently passed them (thanks, obama!) and is steadily gaining. the fact that they're reaching out to touch you suggests some social networking with SPLC, or, they know they're a sinking ship and need to get moonbats fired up about something (good luck with that).

No. You are wickedly funny. Does that sound better?

"Perversely humorous?"

Yes. More or less. Yes, I'd say so, as a rule.

And don't you ever stop being perversely humorous. In so doing, you'll not only keep us entertained (in addition to keeping us informed), but you'll provide the young, quarter-educated and generally clueless writers over at Mother Jones a standard toward which they can aspire.

Are you "perversely humorous?" Depends upon one's definition of humorous, or even of perverse, just like it depends upon what the definition of "is" is.

I am amazed that you actually publish the drivel these idiot spout. They just don't get it, and never will.

I've always been a fan of perverse humor. Which reminds me, just saw a teaser for the WVTM story, you sure do look pretty on the TV.

don't see anything inherently "perversely humorous" about being a three percenter. maybe there's a dab of irony in that the second revolution will be fought by, suffered by, bled by and won by the same three percent that fought the first revolution. humor as in blowing up a barracks with a misting from a crop duster full of explosive fuel? it's only funny till somebody gets hurt...then it's hilarious. maybe mother jones doesn't understand the difference between using the entire chicken as opposed to just the feathers....

The real question is would you rather be thought of as perversely humorous, or humorously perverse?

parabarbarian said...

I do find some of your commentary humorous when I think you didn't intend it so. That make you unintentionally humorous. Maybe the anonymous author at Mother Jones cannot tell the difference.

And don't change a damn thing Mike.

Humorous on occassion but most of the content hear is deadly serious. There is no humor when it comes to oaths, duties, honor, justice, 3% resisting tyranny, etc.

Yes, you're perversely humorous. Take the compliment and run.

@jon: it isn't Obama that LRC needs to thank, it's the faux libertarians and Establishment Republicans who can't quit bashing Ron Paul and drive any sane individual to the relative safe harbo rof LRC

Mike,

Were you ever a GI/Cop/firefighter? If not, you can't be a card-carrying Oath Keeper. Fellow-traveler and well-wisher, sure, but not a dues-paying member.

Too bad they can't get some of their facts straight by READING Sipsey Street Irregulars for 30 minutes.

If someone told me that there was "an official threepercenter office" somewhere, I know it was a trap. Unorganized militia is that way to keep it out of mischief and keep the men at home with their families. Some of us are even posterchildren for the "disorganized militia", an even more harmless variation who knows that he has everything but can't seem to find it in time for the event.

Cheers.

Too true!

As for pdxr13's "disorganized militia", I could be their poster-child...

I suppose it would just depend on what side of the "pond" you are on. I am sure the British thought the "rebels" to be perverse in all manner of ways.

Good humor always has the element of truth to it. Is it any wonder that they find it "perverse"?

Mike good stuff as always.!!
The internal serpent sleeps with eyes wide, subtle but no less responsive to only those who paint it another color. Paint it what ever color you feel comfortable with and try your best to identify it, until you piss it off and it rips your balls off clean then and only then do you question your own stereotypical judgement to a plateau you have never seen.
There is a more intellectual and eloquent way to describe this scenario butt so many feel a disproportionate security by identifying a particular substance and not it's origin.

And get a better inet conn, lol!!

Well, Mike, They might have a point. You do listen to Firesign theatre after all!.......Mthead
