Apparently, the Lord works in mysterious ways and Ammon Bundy seems to be a vessel.
In his latest video he interviews Cattle Ranchers Bob and Helen Kabari from Rowe OR, who have taken refuge at the Malheur Wildlife camp. Bob is there because the Obama admin has kept Malheur Counties Congressional Rep and Oregon State rep out of the loop on the plan to designate 2.5 million acres (43% of the county) as a National Monument and wilderness area, most of which is currently grazed. Threatening 300-400 RANCHERS with their careers. Thus putting the FARMERS who grow food for the Ranchers out of business NEXT. COUNTY WIDE. There are 2 news articles from late 2015 which confirm and detail this plan. Bob claims with a shaky voice it is already a DONE DEAL come August. He is tired of the lies and he is putting his foot down and joining with Ammon and crew because they are the only one's who are united and willing to stand up for their rights.
Well, wishing he hadn't of done it won't make it go away. It is done, and there should be others getting behind them as support in order to combat the perception that the fifth column media has put out about this being all about 'terrorism'.
Frankly I'm puzzled by their choice of time and place.
As an example, I was once in a class with an instructor who claimed to be a reservist officer. He announced to the class that he could stand in the corner and kill us all with nothing more than a rolled up newspaper. At which one of my co-workers who was retired Brown Water Navy exclaimed "Bullshit! I don't need you! I don't need anything you have including your supposed newspaper! And I don't need anything that's in that corner! So as long as you're going to act the fool I'll be in the break room with anyone else who cares to join me. Have fun in your corner with your newspaper."
I could see if maybe they had chosen to seize some important piece of infrastructure, that the Feral Government needed to root them out of. Or if they were judged to be so dangerous that they needed to be in custody like right now. But come on! They occupied the administration building of a National Wildlife Refuge that no one outside of the northwest has ever heard of?
You talk about grabbing Uncle by the short hair!
I hope they brought plenty of eats. Uncle can well afford to leave them sitting there telling each other tall tales until hell freezes over.
It is true enough that this protest is turning out to have little to do with the Hammonds in particular and more to do with the larger pattern of Federal malfeasance and corruption. And that might even be a good thing.
But Oregon? Oh well, if they can settle on some kind of detailed list of specific grievances, this might end with some kind of concessions by the Feds, however symbolic and full of caveats.
This Oregon attempt to start active, armed rebellion against the US regime, strikes me very profoundly ... given we are perhaps hours away from a massacre of a few US 'Liberty Movement' would-be revolutionaries ... and we have some very relevant wisdom from Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn here (quote below)
Despite all that is wrong with the Oregon scenario, with Ammon Bundy speaking & acting so foolishly he is reasonably considered by some to be a hired gov provocateur
But the underlying cause there, seeking to protect the Hammonds from going to prison unjustly a 2nd time for the same offence which was bogus originally, is actually probably the best reason of all to risk a confrontation ... the standoff, however, should have been to block the fed agents from seizing the Hammonds with a protective human cordon, not seize some US fed gov shack of a building
And this is even more true because the Hammonds were NOT asking others to risk their lives & livelihoods for them but were going to go meekly back into the gulag
As we speak, 1 out of every 50 USA adult males is already RIGHT NOW in a US jail or prison (!), in the world's largest gulag, the USA with 25% of all the world's prisoners ... hundreds of thousands of them innocent or on trumped-up charges for trivia
Normal prison numbers, e.g., Western Europe, are about 1 per 1000 of population ... in USA it is 1 out of about 145 ... most are working-age males, the sector of the population tyrannical governments most fear ... so with women, children, elderly mostly not included, it is 1 out of every 50 working age USA males jailed
So for all you Yank males, there is a 2% chance you are sitting inside a jail cell at this moment ... and something like a 15% chance or more, you will one day be where the Hammonds are
They are picking Yanks off one by one, two by two ... No issue has the moral power to sway the populace, when highlighted, as much as unjust incarceration or putting to death of the innocent ... and we all know about the many fake 'suicides' which are murders in US prison cells ... the Hammonds, local heroes in Oregon, might be killed in there to silence them
Though the Hammond situation was badly botched ... it was, indeed, the perfect pretext, especially given the fact it was an utterly cruel, illegal, inhuman, un-Constitutional 2nd jailing for the same trumped-off offence
Remember what Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn said about the gulag he experienced in Russia ... speaking about situations exactly like the Hammonds:
"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive & had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door & at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose & had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers & transport & notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward." ― Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
