Gun Owners Prepare for Arrest at WA State Capitol

Liberty activists and gun owners organized by Liberty for All and The Patriots Stand are converging at the WA State Capitol in Olympia on Saturday at a rally meant to protest and violate new rules imposed by the legislature banning open carry in public viewing galleries.

Anonymous said...: While some have their heads in the sand, this really IS where the fight for liberty stands. Either people stand together now - forcing LEO to make a open choice to honor their oath or defy their oath ON A LARGE SCALE- or people bow and cower in fear- allowing LEO to both avoid making the open choice for all to see AND to continue picking is off one by one.

If someone brandishes - arrest them. If they make threats to individuals then arrest them. Remember, the enunerated right is own and carry (and use in self defense). The right is NOT to threaten or to shoot in disagreement. Those attending mean no one harm - only aiming to exercise their enumerated rights.

Journalists will not save us. Lawyers will not save us. Standing alone will not save us. Lobbyists will not save us. Non profits and donations to them will not save us.

Standing together, unafraid, in the face of tyranny will save us all. Assembling and speaking and petitioning and yes arming will save us. The only way to preserve Liberty itself is to exercise those enumerated rights TOGETHER!
Hundreds and thousands standing together is where we are at. If we cannot come together in these numbers at times like this - local as it gets- then we have to admit there aren't enough people willing to do anything more than talk and raise money in order to talk some more about one day doing. Yeah, that's the Al Sharpton path. Is that what folks who care about liberty, about guns, about rights themselves want?

This is a win or lose moment my friends.
Which do you choose to support?
Direct action in the form of simply exercising a right
Or
Calls to stand down this effort and solicitation of donations by those making that call?

Time to choose. And then be held to account for that choice made - especially on the credibility level.

AJ said...: It's funny that the same people who are freaking out about the legislature banning open carry in the Capitol building seem to exhibit no such outrage over not even being able to take a small knife scissors into a courthouse. Nevermind all the shit one has to go through to get on a plane.
As far as I can see, this is a distraction from the more important subject, which is the onerous background check/backdoor registration law that was bought and paid for by billionaires.
