The Flame.
Hat tip to Survival Blog for reminding me that today is the birthday of Bent Faurschou-Hviid, "The Flame," the Danish Resistance fighter portrayed in Flame & Citron.

Great movie. Seen it a couple of times. Only difference between them and us is: no outside country is supplying us with automatic weapons and grenades. Not that I personally need an automatic as I'm sure I'll place a better kill-shot using semi. But as you say "quantity has a quality all it's own".
Flame & Citron is an excellent movie. I'd highly recommend it to anyone interested in Scandinavian resistance during WWII, as well as anyone interested in seeing murderous bureaucrats get their just desserts.
