Are 'gun control' advocates starting to see dangers of open borders?

Perhaps the gun ban zealots should re-think their love of open borders.

Paul X said...: It's not a question of "open borders", the loaded term preferred by those who disagree. It's a question of how much one trusts one's government to fence us in, combined with an uncompromising understanding and appreciation of liberty.

I love liberty, and I don't trust government to protect my interests. Whatever they do - whether that be keeping others out, or letting them in - is done in the interests of the ruling class, not mine. And if others are fenced out, I inevitably will be fenced in. This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can't be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won't be done. The Founders' Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.
