Snippets from local coverage of the Olympia rally (that didn't turn out the way Gottlieb had hoped). "Milking the elk."

"Gun owners, including Garrett Bosworth, 16, center, of Yakima, Wash., pose for a selfie photo as they display their weapons in the upper gallery of the House chambers, Thursday, Jan. 15, 2015, at the Capitol in Olympia, Wash."
Opponents of new gun law rally in Olympia, trade guns in House gallery
A group of 15 to 18 gun advocates did march into the Capitol. They arrived in the House Gallery just as the state House of Representatives was adjourning. They heckled members on the floor, and made a show of violating I-594 by exchanging weapons in the Gallery. A Washington State Patrol officer instructed one demonstrator on how to more safely hold his gun.
Tense Moments As Gun Rights Rally Spills Into Washington House Gallery
Gun rights activists rally at Capitol in Olympia
Garrett Bosworth, 16, of Yakima clutched a wood-stock hunting rifle as she sat in the House gallery after the outdoor rally ended. “It’s like standing up to bullies,” she said of efforts to fight gun control. “If you don’t say anything, they’re just going to keep doing it.”
(MBV Note: I met Garrett and her sister Aubrie when I went out to Olympia last month. They are two impressive young ladies. Garrett has some experience standing up to bullies in her school -- much to the painful frustration of the bullies.)
Gun activists gather, as control activists plan to grade legislators on which way they vote
Gun-control activists also plan to maintain a presence during the session. A few hours after the rally, a coalition group that supports gun control announced it would grade legislators on efforts to adopt new laws to increase gun safety and oppose repeals of the state’s newly expanded background-check law.
The Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility said it will score legislators not just on how they vote on bills the group supports or opposes, but on whether they actively advocate for gun control during debates and deliberations, meet with gun-control supporters or are “engaging the public” on the issue.
Riiiight. Just exactly how do you collectivist pukes "grade" armed civil disobedience?

And here's Dave Workman's latest, "milking the elk" for all it's worth: As activists rallied on capitol steps, lawmakers went to work
"Blake, who joked to Thursday’s audience that he got his elk last fall – something of an insider joke among Washington big game hunters, who have found the animals increasingly elusive during shorter, earlier seasons. . ."

"While all of this was happening in Olympia, the organizer of the Dec. 13 “I Will Not Comply” was in a Douglas County courtroom , where he was arrested, several news agencies are reporting. Gavin Seim, of Ephrata,...."

To the friends of Gavin, it might be helpful if the name and home address of the Judge who is holding Gavin in jail WITHOUT BOND, be made known.

Maybe a rally could be organized at that address, just thinking!

Gavin and his father were released without bail today. Think that no charges were brought?

From Gavin:

"They have made up violations and charged me with Obstructing a Court, Disorderly Conduct, and Contempt of Court. Which are in fact only some of the crimes that THEY committed. My dad was charged with Obstructing a court, and Contempt of Court. Offenses that could (though rarely) result in over a year of prison."
