GOA warns: ‘Fast Track’ To Delegate Enormous Power To Obama; Second Amendment Could Be Impacted.

Congress got back to work last week. And within the next month, the congressional GOP leadership is expected to move a “bait and switch” scheme that could seriously impact the Second Amendment. The scheme is called “fast track.”

IMHO, GOA makes a mistake here. Saying it would be different under another president is nonsensical. Every president already has authority to engage in foreign relations. Congress already has the authority to regulate commerce with foreign powers. It's always been that way and should be that way.

No treaty - even if agreed to by executive and congress trumps the Second Amendment or the rest of the constitution. We ought not play this game - it's outside second amendment parameters. Sorry FUDDS, but you don't have any RIGHT to import anything into this country that you want. THAT is a permission - and ALWAYS has been.

Our fight must rest on what our rights ACTUALLY are. Screw the imports. Let's make our own stuff eh?? Let's fight for the right to make our own stuff.

It's foolish to divide the gun rights community over a fight we cannot win. Yeah yeah yeah you like your aks and your cheap wolf plinking ammo. So what. Like I said imports are a permission! What do you want more? Your RIGHTS themselves or your low dollar plinking ammo.

We should be united in augmenting production HERE. You know, fighting for JOBS here! Making our own stuff HERE.

Barry is dangerous. Yes. He's jumping at every gun control he can - it speaks VOLUMES that he is reduced to foreign based aspects as it shows we are kicking his ass HERE. So how about we refuse to take his bait at misdirection and instead keep kicking his ass here ?

If things are as described, are Republicans stupid (or complicit) enough to give Obama what may be twisted to be an enabling act for Obama's last two years in office?

Rushed legislation tends to be bad legislation. Fast Tracking something before it's written might amount to treason.

Barry Soetoro knows he will go down as the worst president in history, and he is determined to leave a lasting "legacy", with failed, poorly designed and executed programs like Obamacare.

Congress is so crooked now that it will do anything to appear like it has accomplished something, instead of sitting tight until the next change of office.

My hopes were that Congress would stymie Barry until he leaves office. Any deal they make is bound to be bad for Americans.
