Why is this important, and of concern for all gun owners, not just NFA firearm collectors and those involved with gun trusts? All gun regulations affect all Americans. Many gun owners don’t hunt. Others will never own a “black rifle.” Concealed carry permit holders may never wish to open carry. But when one group needs aid, the others ignore them at their peril, for reasons stated by Mr. Franklin, who noted the need for people with diverse interests and backgrounds, but with a common interest in survival, to hang together.

What happens when a large majority express their objection to the NFA trust rule change and the ATF says bugger off and changes it anyway? What appeal process is in place? Issa? The Federal Appeals Court? Your Senator? An agency of outlaws is not going to listen to the public. We need some muscle in dealing with these immoral, jack booted thugs.
Done....but I was tempted to just tell them to pass it and I'd like to see them ban them all. They can come collect my NFA items whenever they want....one bullet at a time.
Commenting on policy is futile. They are going to do whatever they want regardless. "They" being the title of nobility political class. They care not what we say as they believe all we have is spoken and written word. Today, they believe that there is no limit to their power and authority. In large measure this is true because of how complicated they have made everything.
But they miss the actions Americans ARE taking. Millions upon millions are indeed arming up and stacking provisions because so many know the endgame here.

I believe even the elitist punks milking every dime they can right now also believe this happening is afoot. That's WHY they milk as they do. They know what's coming. Thus, they are going to hamstring it via "rules" created by fiat executive power no matter what anyone says. I submit that ALL gun owners and liberty defenders should now stop talking to all government (if we can even call it that anymore) en mass.
I submit that if we would hang together in refusing to legitimize them by engaging them THAT message would be a sonic boom upon them. It would scare the crap out of every one of them. It would demonstrate that unless they will actually LISTEN, we are no longer interested in beating our head against the wall. That instead we have become resolved to simply prepare for the results of their dismissal of constitutional limitations on authority.
