Kind of defeats the purpose if someone has to run along side it to keep it upright (note black pole on far side keeping it supported). A flippin' high school auto shop class could do the same thing.

Every video I've seen of these wannabe terminators, have been lab videos, and have always had some kind of umbilical attached to them - either for support or for power/control. Until they can cut the strings on their frankenpinocchios and get the same results, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

Notice at the end of the article, they leave ole the possibility of charging the targets of the raid in the woman's death.
They have to have a scapegoat. They almost certainly won't charge the op who actually fired the shot.

"umbilical attached to them"

Do you mean the autonomous and semi autonomous drones which quite regularly fly and eliminate targets and even land themselves.....?

In the interest of accurate assessments.

So, How much do you have to lead them at top speed?

Anyone ever wonder how this outfit got so big so fast. A rather disquieting accumulation of power held in the hands of a private company. I remember years ago when the space program was still in it's infancy. The US announced that it was going to run a program using satelites to explore the surface of the earth for mapping and weather. In reality it was America's first spy satellite program. Once the film was used up the vehicle was moved to a low earth orbit where the film cannister was jetisoned and fell back to earth using a controlled reentry. The point here is. The US has hidden spy programs and top secret installations in plain sight for years. The Manhatten project was another one. They hid part of it under Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. I don't trust these Google assholes and never have. To me this is a domestic spy agency masquerading as a legitimate private company. I just don't buy the story.
