He had no idea he fired the shot? Really? Every time I've fired a shot a little thing called recoil reminded me even if I had both ear plugs and muffs on. But Crystal will not be present in court with her lawyer to defend herself because 'he fired the shot' whether he was was aware of it or not - I call that a Negligent Discharge.
You can bet your bottom dollar that if I had an AD and killed my neighbor, I'd already be in jail and not "Paid administrative leave"
If this guy doesn't get manslaughter charges, I hope the family exacts their own revenge.
It's my understanding that our military is regularly tasked with accounting for every round - even on the training range. Are we to believe that SWAT teams that do drug raids aren't held accountable for rounds taken and brought back? Iris that how they found out? Was it not known until ballistics resulting from autopsy/bullet removal? And just how the hell does a firearm get discharged and one doesn't feel it happen? Can you say liar? Can you say MUST have broken the cardinal RULES?
Never put that finger on the trigger til you are READY to shoot and never POINT a firearm at anything unless you INTEND on destroying it.
