Kentucky Sheriff to Obama: No Gun Control in My County

Outstanding.
"My office will not comply with any federal action which violates the United States Constitution or the Kentucky Constitution which I swore uphold."
And far from worrying about repercussions for doing this, Peyman sees the gun control push as a sign of weakness that will crumble in the face of real opposition: "Just a few of us have to be willing to stand up to political opposition putting our people at risk. The other side will back down."

I grew up in Jackson county Ky , JCHS class of 1975,and I'm here to tell ya' that you will need an ARMY to take it. It has 12000 people in the whole place. All of them familys going back to D.Boon Its takes 1 1/2 hrs. to drive 30-40 miles. The roads are all one and 2 lane switchbacks. Tanks and Mechs will be worthless. Every road has a choke point every mile. 2000 rifes can hold off an army for years. AND HALF OF KY looks like that. Wanna get your ass shot off feds? Just try to disarm a bunch of pissed off hillbillys.Hell just show up We'll "get er done".

Mr. Vanderboegh, thank you for posting this. The Sheriff met with us today in the county seat, heavy rains curtailed the "courthouse steps" rally that had been planned in his support. What a joy and comfort it was to meet with Sheriff Peyman and my fellow Jackson Countians. The fire still burns here...

I would bet that this sheriff takes federal drug interdiction money and wages the unconstitutional war on drugs. Bottom line is that I don't trust criminal hypocrites.

the Israeli (Jewish) blog Mystical Paths,
http://wwww.mpaths.com recently posted on the
Drudge headlines, in the post "Instability in the U.S.A?"

I left a few comments for backgrounds. Maybe others
with more experience and expertise would care to do
the same. (WRSA has closed comments for quite a while,
or I'd post there too)
all the best, cycjec

Remember Jack Hinson, from that same region:

Some people should not be screwed with.
