Now, because they wouldn't get off their asses to affect the legislation, the game is going to be played for higher stakes.

Hit us with your best shot, Andy!
Assault-rifle owners statewide are organizing a mass boycott of Gov. Cuomo’s new law mandating they register their weapons, daring officials to “come and take it away,” The Post has learned.
Gun-range owners and gun-rights advocates are encouraging hundreds of thousands of owners to defy the law, saying it’d be the largest act of civil disobedience in state history.
“I’ve heard from hundreds of people that they’re prepared to defy the law, and that number will be magnified by the thousands, by the tens of thousands, when the registration deadline comes,’’ said Brian Olesen, president of the American Shooters Supply, one of the largest gun dealers in the state.

Hell Yes , you do not register and you do not hand your firearms over ,PERIOD !

If we the people roll over on our backs and piss on ourselves like puppy dogs, then you deserve what you get ! We need to be Pitbulls with a set of nuts that would make a donkey cry !

If you don't fight for it, you will lose it as simple as that !

Why New York\'s gun owners didn\'t have a chance to mount opposition to the new ban laws.

Well, if it comes to blows....and our fellow gun owners get killed....I HOPE AND PRAY TO GOD we will stand with them and not let them swing on their own.

An attack on one is an attack on all.

This could be the next "shot heard round the world".

Well, at some point a stand must be taken -- the tripwire having been tripped. In New York, it looks like now. Not complying with gun registration seems reasonable to me. Choosing targets for when it gets really ugly is also a worthy past time.

Hate to say it, but this overreach may actually be good for us.

No illusions about what "reasonable" regulations mean any more.
