Praxis: Data Mining

Data Masters See The Future. Perhaps, but this does little to defeat 4th Generation open source insurgency when the practitioners aren't part of even a loosely based network, but act individually and in small teams based upon ideas and informal rules of engagement and the targeting of elite decision makers.

There MUST be a common bond that tie's them all together , or they are doomed to failure from the get-go.

Yes, Data mining is a tool being used by many groups, some evil. However, it's a double edged sword, and mostly a chimera. Much of the data collected is noise, and the more one collects, the more noise vs signal, until they are drown in noise.

These predictive tools can also be used to manipulate your adversary into chasing ghosts, or to funnel them into some desired outcome. Their overconfidence in analysis and data is a weakness, use it!
