It would be well to remember that the first little skirmish with tyrrany started in MA. Perhaps history repeats itself once again. NYS may not be far behind.

Someone in Massachusetts will have to file a law suit citing the McDonnell case and this one:

Minneapolis Star vs. Minnesota Commissioner of Revenue

A special tax on ammunition is un-Constitutional beause it's a tax on a supply used to exercised a right.

I'll also say that the US government may not follow the law, we know that it often doesn't, but it may.

It's time for these folks (and the ones from NY) to vote with their feet.

Moving to Montana soon,
Gonna be a dental floss tycoon.

Even *if* you buy into the stateist concept of central storage facilities, such regulations create a deeply attractive target for theft.
Better have deep physical security and armed guards. (But of course the legislators will make no provision for that.)

Business as usual :-(

The headline should read, "238 years later, Gen. Gage finally wins at Lexington and Concord"

I suggest they also impose a 25% tax on all sports related equipment to be used for mental health services and victims services as well. Lots of those worthless over-paid prima donna athletes in our world that kill or injure themselves, their SO's, and innocent bystanders with their actions both on and off the fields of play. And while we're at it, lets also attach that tax to makers and purveyor's of alcohol and automobiles as well. Oh, and bow and arrow's as well, seems to me there was a murder suicide in Wyoming a few months back. Hell, why don't we throw in an ugly tax so that those that have seen my ugly mugg can get mental health counseling as well.

Jackasses.

"Requires live shooting as part of the curriculum for a basic firearms safety course; this is not a current requirement."

That bit should not be too difficult to comply with - seems the 'targets' are being setup well in advance!

Insure by S&W and no need to worry about sales tax on everything already bought ...

Duh, Homer!

A perceived "enemy to the rights of Americans" in the period around the American Revolution traditionally was treated to a coating of pine tar and feathers.
