The ORIGINAL gathering place for a merry band of Three Percenters. (As denounced by Bill Clinton on CNN!)

Another '40s favorite of mine. Long ago and far away.
In 1944, Armed Forces Radio in Britain used to broadcast this on the Glenn Miller show in both English and German, sung by SGT Johnny Desmond to the Wehrmacht in France to harm their morale. Tokyo Rose did the same to us in the Pacific.

I may be in my 40s but as a budding high school saxophonist I too grew up with that wonderful music.
Jo Stafford's voice is one of the purest, innocent sounds on earth.
"Long Ago and Far Away" is one of the most beautiful, haunting popular tunes ever put to lacquer, tape or PCM.
(Dick Haymes and Helen Forrest's cut is cliched in its realization and does not wear too well on repeated hearing.)
Is it okay to say I fell in love with Jo for that voice of hers? Oh that voice still chills me!

It's too bad that the progressive/fascists don't speak a language that's definitively different than English.
They speak a different language in other senses, though. They speak collectivist, which will get them terminated at some point.
