U.S. Senator says millions of Americans are 'arming against the government'

Murphy is frightened of a well armed American citizenry. This is very good news. Those who would presume to govern a free people should be mortally afraid of the wrath of the people whose rights he threatens. The bills, between them, have 125 sponsors and co-sponsors. Clearly, the American people must have access to 125-round magazines.

Oh that is a real hoot; I laughed for 3 minutes. Now my stomach muscles are sore. It hurts so good! Maybe Jon Stewart will use you for your great one liners now that he's needy in the humor department. 125 round mags takes the cake!

Unfortunately every congressman, and senator from Ct. Are all determined, progressive , domestic enemy's of the state. Every one of them despise the 2nd amendment. And completely disavow that oath... And they all can kiss my arse...Because they are the ones that are null and void. Behind Enemy Lines ... In Unconstitutional, collectivist Ct. We Will Not Stand Down . AAA/O.11B2O.

Or 12 and a half people with 10-round magazines ... The Senator already understands that there are millions of people with 'high capacity' magazines - ALL with a low capacity for tolleration of his putative tyranny.

Do the maths!

The 2nd amendment is about keeping tyranny's feet to the fire therefore only a tyrant should ever fear getting their souls burnt!

Death before slavery!

When the people fear the government, you have a tyranny.
When the government fears the people, you have liberty.

He is an embarrassing piece of shit, and one of the MANY reasons I am ashamed to be from CT.

On the other hand, being a non-compliant Patriot makes me proud to be from CT.

Quote from the senator himself; “Think of the damage that someone could do in the U.S. Capitol with 30 rounds,” he said at a briefing.

Yes senator, just think, and maybe imagine 20 more mags worth to really clean house!

We can darken the skies with all the bullets we will send their direction. They need to ask themselves if they REALLY want to start this thing or not.

"They need to ask themselves if they REALLY want to start this thing or not."

They do. They are committed to it because it is part of something more than simple gun controls for the benefit of mankind. Gun control is simply a pretext and ancillary to other desires.

They are committed to this and we are way past the talking stage and to be honest, there never really was one of those anyway, not for them.

Galaxie_man to paraphrase your quote "Think of the improvements someone could do in the US Capitol with thirty rounds"
Personally I like my version better.

If only they could pass this...

Do it. Get the fight started, and let's settle this, once and for all, while I'm still young enough to be useful for something other than support and logistics.

The Founders would've been wearing these traitors scalps at drunken victory parties by now.

This is especially relevant now that the "supreme" court backed up King O's proposal that politicians shouldn't be penalized for lieing to their constituents.

Mr. Murphy, do you also have a fear of rope? YOU SHOULD!

'So attaching two 10-round magazines together with a magazine coupler, or even with duct tape, would be a crime worth five years of the "offender's" life." '

Still not to the level of tyranny of Texas, which used to invoke life sentences for finding a marijuana seed in somebody's car.

The CT ruling class must be furiously arguing among themselves, "Can we kill or jail all of them before they kill us?" Oddly, it appears some of them think so, which just goes to show intelligence is not a prerequisite for membership in the ruling class. But I think passage of this bill will just give CT folks one more law to ignore.
