Brian Williams admits that his story of coming under fire while in Iraq was false

Think he could be charged under Stolen Valor? Contract extensions, bonuses, speaking engagements....if he benefitted financially in any way because his words held more weight because of the danger he was assumed to have faced.

Several potential answers include self-aggrandizement, too many trips to Colorado, dementia, or just plain, old fashioned lies.

Williams did not avail himself of the opportunity of entering military service, where there are many public information officers with a lot more guts.

A suggestion to Williams would be to back slowly away from the hash pipe, and give credit to whom it is actually due.

This lie has been told over and over and over for over a decade - and it comes out NOW? Right after his heros last election? It comes out now as ISIS burns a man alive and touts its video around the world while OBAMA sits mostly idle? As the most pathetic excuse for a budget is delivered?
