This is What Happens When You Challenge Gun Cultists

What I can't figure out is that nobody is forcing them to own a gun or have a gun, yet they want to take MY guns? I say they can curl up and hide from the real world as they seem fit. Call the cops and wait for 20 minutes for help to arrive (and then they don't have to actually help). All the cops are for is to write a report after the fact, like historians.

Like you have said before, Mike, they need to come personally, not send someone else's sons and daughters, but them personally, and get my guns. I'll be glad to give them up, as soon as I run out of ammo!

It figures that A POS like him, would write for a POS RAG, like them.

The story there in comments about a paraplegic trying to get into her house, and being ambushed by a guy with a water gun, all dressed in black, sounds so sweet, to those people. Trouble is, there are no other witnesses, so it's just another made up story to make leftists feel good about themselves. A lot like the blacks in college hanging nooses on their own doors for sympathy.

I must be behind the curve here. I have a couple of questions.
1. Who the hell is this Bateman turd?
2. Why does his opinion matter?

He's in England, if he wants to live that lifestyle under their rules, go for it. And some of those comments, holy shit. I learned from them that I am a killer that just hasn't had the opportunity to kill anyone yet. Which is not factually correct. I drew my weapon one day to defend myself without firing a shot. I could have shot that SOB in the face since I had 2 inches of a 4 inch Bbl stuck up his nose.

Something else I learned form the comments. The NRA is a evil, vile empire run by the Devil and doing the bidding of the manufacturers.

That's 15 minutes I'll never get back.

I believe this was posted in another thread here on the demanding moms group, but here's some excellent background on the founder/PR mercenary of the demanding moms:

http://gunfreezone.net/wordpress/index.php/2013/12/12/shannon-watts-finally-comes-out-of-the-closet/

http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2013/12/18/nra-bloomberg-mayors-against-illegal-guns-sandy-hook/4115843/

Outgoing New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's Mayors Against Illegal Guns on Thursday will announce that it is joining with Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a year-old grassroots campaign launched the day after the Dec. 14, 2012, shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn.

...

Founded by Shannon Watts, an Indianapolis mother of five, Moms Demand Action says it has more than 130,000 members in all 50 states.

http://www.nytimes.com/2013/12/15/magazine/inside-the-power-of-the-nra.html?pagewanted=8&_r=1

One gun-control group that seeks to close the intensity gap is Moms Demand Action, which was started by Shannon Watts, a 42-year-old Indiana-based public-relations veteran and mother of five, the day after the Newtown shootings.

Shannon Watts' LinkedIn page suggests something other than giving up "being a stay-at-home-mom" to "create" the demanding moms group:

President

VoxPop Public Relations

December 2008 – June 2012 (3 years 7 months)VoxPop Public Relations is a strategic public relations agency that helps individuals, companies and organizations accelerate their growth, profitability, reputation and market presence through media relations, product launches, new media, events and promotions, messaging and media training, and issues management.

Shannon Watts = Shannon Troughton.

So the organization founded by "stay-at-home-mom" Shannon Watts (aka Shannon Troughton) is really not founded by a "stay-at-home-mom" at all, but a longtime progressive public relations operative -- and get this -- former VP for the nation's largest private health insurance company!

Shannon Troughton (http://www.linkedin.com/in/shannontroughton), most recently the Vice President of Corporate Communications for WellPoint, the country's largest health insurer, announced today the launch of a new public relations agency, VoxPop Public Relations, LLC.

It's obvious that Bateman has his "followers" stack the comments section of each of his articles.

I quit answering the comments & Bateman personally when they/he wouldn't agree to come get mine from myself & my family in Mississippi personally.

They are true cowards. I can only hope the opportunity presents itself one day for them to test my resolve.

Is there a gun in the house?
You should always assume that there is, regardless of whatever response you get to the question.

Would the parent asking about guns ask whether the kitchen knives, household chemicals, power tools and lawn maintenance equipment are locked up? They probably would not like the answer because very few households do. Col. Bateman keeps a machete and kukri handy in England, something that parents should be concerned about - someone might get seriously cut accidentally.

Why not ask whether the parents believe in the First Amendment as well as the Second amendment? Demonstrate your true weirdness by asking that one.

What should really concern a parent is whether there is a swimming pool at the house, because a child is much more likely to drown in a pool than to be shot.

Also, more deaths occur from blunt trauma - hands, feet, baseball bats, golf clubs, etc., than occur from rifles and shotguns. Do those parents golf? Does Johnny or his sister play baseball or softball? Does that family wear shoes?

You cannot be too careful when accommodating idiots. I really do not want your children playing with mine. My children may acquire some very strange ideas from your children.

I worked for Wellpoint. They used to have a TV commercial with a kid playing football and his mom was running down the sideline yelling "Don't you touch him!". That ad was a good representation of the company's culture and values.
