The Bundy Standoff — A Century of Abuse.

Interesting discussion: "For days following April 8, hundreds of well-armed Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and even hundreds more partially-armed Bundy supporters stood toe-to-toe. Any spark could have caused another Waco. Finally, the BLM backed off, allegedly for safety reasons. Don’t believe it. There is a much bigger story here and the media is wrong on most counts."

Texas IS a whole other country. We came in the union by treaty...not by annexation. We should round up all the federal BLM & EPA employees, strip them of their assets, take them to the state line and force them out at gun point. Tell them if they try to return, they will be shot.

HA! I logged on this morning to see if you might have posted this piece. I'd not seen a News With Views link here before, and thought this piece was the best I'd seen on the constitutional issues and lower-law issues involved. Best of all, many of my (and virtually all readers' here) instincts are validated with black-letter law analysis.

This piece is just the first in at least a 6-part series. NWV is one of the better sites to get such an expansive free education on myriad issues. I highly recommend bookmarking the linked piece and following the subsequent Parts as they are published. Thanks for posting the link, Mike.
