I'll bet the NRA does more about it than GOA. But, it is hard to educate as many idiots as live in CA to not vote for those collectivist bastards in the first place. The best strategy may be to just let the CA idiots stew in it for a while. But I doubt if they will learn anything from it. Personally, I wouldn't spend a dime to help them. I really hope no organization comes to their aid in this matter. I'm tired of organizations having to fund a fight against anti-second-amendment legislation other places in the country with financial contributions. Let's just all take care of ourselves. Screw California!
Not much they can do until it signed. Not much they have to do if it is not signed. If signed, I hope they sue, and so should every gun owner. If not struck down, this bill will be imitated elsewhere.
The pukish NRA will most likely do there EXACTLY what it is openly doing here in Illinois with the new "strictest shall issue legislation in the country".
HELP THE STATIST BASTARDS IMPLEMENT IT!!!
Thus setting up more fundraisers claiming to "stand and fight" while it soaks up the Obamacare-like INDIVIDUAL MANDATE to purchase "training of 16 hours" to the tune of a cool three hundred bucks or more (that is in addition to the 150 dollar permit fee and the sixty dollar fingerprint fee and range fee and precious ammo spent passing live fire test and range fees and target fees and and and and and and.
What is the NRA going to do? Anything that makes damn sure the money flows into NRA bank accounts coming and going.
Heck, I'm starting to wonder when the permit structure heads for Vermont with the NRA championing the benefits of the training requirements and background checks.
Surely you folks realize that it takes either money or war to fight tyranny! If you had rather have war, then by all means criticize the NRA for raising money. If you had rather not have to go to war to fight for your rights, then contribute some money to organizations that fight tyranny in lawmaking bodies and in the courts to help preserve our rights. That includes the NRA. Otherwise you might as well lock and load... and probably bleed something other than money.
By the way, Illinois guy. To whom do you contribute money to help fight for your rights? My guess is no one. (I think anyone who loves Liberty and lives in Illinois is a fool.) There is not enough money to make me to live in Illinois, CA, MA, MD or NY ether. I don't care why you live in IL, just leave IL and shut the hell up about it!

The NRA = the new millennium's Brady Bunch.
