With a tip of the boonie hat to Brian for the image.

When I see things like this makes me wonder how would that cop feel if he was unarmed and someone stuck a gun to his head.

"Yes - excuse me officer - is there a reason why you have a goddamn rifle pointed at my face? Maybe your sidekick The Sable Fat Boy can tell me."

Calif. Hiway Patrol. After dealing with these scumbags 3 times as a fucking VICTIM..I can honestly say I'm now more afraid of LEO's than I ever was. These psychopaths are out of control, plain and simple.

Hi Mike,
The photo is credited to Randall Benton and the Sacramento Bee. I have about a gazillion questions for starters. First off, how in the HE2xL did he get this foto without getting shot himself?? 'Did he use some kind of super telephoto lens from a mile away?? For having the barrel of a EBR just inches from his face the guy in the car seems to have a mild smile on his face?? Who is he?? I'd love to hear his comments about this "interview??" I can go on . 'Would say I' glad I'm not in California, but it's not just there.

Skybill, it was probably a photo staged in order to make a point. And that point is that the police are becoming more dangerous to deal with than the criminals.
