Feds Say Possession of “Large Amounts” of Weapons May Indicate Terrorist Activity

A joint bulletin issued in early August by the Department of Homeland Security and FBI warns state and local law enforcement agencies to look out for people in possession of “large amounts” of weapons and ammunition, describing the discovery of “unusual amounts” of weapons as a potential indicator of criminal or terrorist activity.

For once, the FBI/Homies, might have it right. Both agencies have huge stockpiles of weapons and ammo. This is, "reasonably indicative of criminal activity associated with terrorism". When they are planning a false flag, they reach into their cache for the appropriate weapons and proceed to kill innocent Americans. I'm only surprised that they owned up to it, to state and local police, as an indicator.

SPLC advisory, or generated by the fibbies?

They may want to check the local police station. I understand they've been hoarding military equipment.

Had a comment all ready to type but reading the comments already posted demonstrates it's all been said already.

I'll add only that it's so sad that corrupt executives and legislatures have turned a once admirable profession into something viewed with such utter disdain. Police once heralded are now viewed as JBTs because they blindly follow "orders" instead of the oath they take to protect and defend human liberty and dignity.

Don't want people viewing YOU as JBTs? Stop ACTING like JBTs!

Unfortunately, historically the FBI has recruited among those with training in law and accounting, not science and mathematics. How large is "large"? Or is this demonizing those who chose to acquire more than some arbitrary non-zero amount?

Correlation?
Causation?
Coincidence?
None of the above?

It appears that the FBI forgets that the 9/11 hijackers used boxcutters to initiate their attacks and later fuel laden airplanes as guided missiles to take down the World Trade Center buildings in New York City. The Boston Marathon bombers used pressure cookers packed with common hardware and black powder from fireworks, while only possessing a pistol during their attempted escape. Timothy McVeigh used a rental truck packed with Ammonium Nitrate fertilizer and diesel fuel in Oklahoma City. McVeigh carried a pistol. Focusing on possessors of "large" (aka non-zero) amounts of weapons and ammunition ignores the mass murderers who will use anything to effect their ends.

This is called isolating and is basically directly linked to targeting specific individuals and organizations. We have seen this before.

You must remember that everything is now a psychological operation for the minds of the masses and everything is presented as the absolute truth, without countervailing arguments, which are not allowed by the Marxist media because they want to win.

This has never been about truth or fairness, it is about winning and taking power that will never be allowed to return to the people. The average American has no idea what is happening, although those fairly recent citizens from former soviet bloc countries can tell you chapter and verse, what is being done, and who is doing it.

It is not strange at all that their voices cannot be heard above the Marxist drum beat. The Marxists control 95% of the media and have never been in the business of truth or justice or fairness although they claim them all. They are about power and privilege, fear and force.

I wonder what constitutes "large amounts"? In any case the terrorists that has become our Federal government I am sure have well exceeded the "large amounts" level.

Does that include butter knives and slingshots? How about axes, grass cutters, pruning shears, garden immplements, rope, chainsaws, tire irons, chains and a whole host of things that I could use in a pinch as a weapon. Another thing that comes to mind is how do these government turds expect to "unteach" the knowledge of how to make a gun? It would be like trying to unbake a cake. The genie has been out of the bottle for centuries and most of us familiar with firearms know that once you understand the therory and mechanisms, making them isn't a huge chore. Remember as Burt Gummer says" Just a few household chemicals mixed in the proper amounts." These people are really so devoid of common sense they actually think that they can control and confiscate. How well did that work for Prohibition? That backfired big time and gave us Organized Crime. What about the futile billions spent trying to win the war on drugs and to stop the hoards of invaders coming in from Mexico. They have been an abject failure on both counts. If their program to confiscate works as well as Obamadon'tcare then I am not all that worried. Watchful yes. But as I watch government expand to meet one new threat after another the more feckless it becomes. Kind of like the Stay Puft marshmallow man lurching down the street trying to catch the Ghostbusters. It is fascinating that most of what government does is try to solve problems that are of governments own making. As one course correction after another is needed because of one foul up after another committed by government. I think in Congress they refer to this as job security.
