There you have it. Constitutional Rights canceled without trial because the po-pos (kindest word I have for them) suspect he's been teaching gun safety to teenagers.
Plouffe should also sue the Police Chief for official oppression and denial of civil rights under color of law. Unfortunately, the entire "justice" system in Mass. is utterly saturated with "progressives" just like that Chief. I figure young Plouffe has about the chance of a snowflake in a nuclear blast of getting anything even remotely resembling justice. Crying damned shame, that. Crying damned shame.
The Police Chief is worried about the "maturity" of the citizens, but the citizens of Massachusetts are worried about the "maturity" of the police officers, as exhibited by their choice of words:
For those who aren't familiar with Massachusetts' particular brand of stupidity here, this chief did exactly what was needed to get the ball rolling for a solid legal case.
There are three "classes" of license here with various restrictions and allowances that are tangential to the topic. Two (LTC-A, LTC-B) are "may issue," with the last (FID) being "shall issue." ALL firearms possession here requires one of the above, so revoking the guy's FID not only was done illegally (no provision in the law for it), but if allowed to stand, lets "arbitrary and capricious" standard be applied to RKBA as a whole in the state.
We're not winning at the legislative level here, but there's been (for MA) significant work done at the judicial level. Commonwealth Second Amendment (http://www.comm2a.org) is the place to throw money if it's burning a hole in your pocket and you want to support this type of lawsuits against the MA state gov't. They're the single most effective group in the state at the moment.
Lobbying in general is ineffective here, and the NRA ignores us. Gun Owners Action League (http://www.goal.org) has a bit better reception, but mixed results at best.
It's Time 2A (https://www.facebook.com/pages/Its-Time/520269128004720) is slowly building grassroots momentum outside of the lobbying and legal routes, including a mailing list on the rather ugly front page at http://itstime2a.org that has been keeping people up to date with local (town-based) attempts at control grabs.
Northeast Shooters (http://www.northeastshooters.com) forums have discussion on this case and others, including info from Comm2A, GOAL, and It's Time 2A, but you won't see tactics discussed in open forum.
If you've spent any time in this state fighting the stupidity, you understand why it's split up like this. Just don't think everyone up here is the same way.

JUDGES! We don't need no stinking judges!
