Praxis: DiY Food Storage

Another preservation method that in many ways is more effective than canning is dehydration. Dehydrated foods store at least as well as canned goods and may very well be the more resilient option when it comes to food preservation.

Another option that most people don't know about is the use of food grade diatomaceous earth for grain storage. It MUST be food grade (coming from fresh water diatoms), the other stuff is bad for you. See my friend's website:
