He asks his fellow officers what they are going to do if that happens. Will they keep their oaths?

Yahooooeeee! The Sheriff of Coos County, which is my county, in the state of Oregon, joined his fellow Linn County Sheriff, Tim Mueller, by also sending a letter to Obomination, pledging to uphold the Constitution and the 2nd Amendment rights of the citizens of his county. That makes my day.

What if he is told that he and his team aren't disarming regular Americans, but taking down vicious "right-wing terrorists"?

Nope, because they like their jobs...

Yeah, as if these county sheriffs would take the word of some federal dweeb who allegedly knows what is going on in their counties, better than they do.

Linn County is logging and farming. Coos County is logging and fishing. All no-nonsense salt-of-the-earth types down there.

Pine County sheriff ‘will not enforce’ further federal gun regulations

In 1170, King Henry II rhetorically asked his knights about Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury, who did not fully cooperate with the King, "What sluggards, what cowards have I brought up in my court, who care nothing for their allegiance to their lord. Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?" Four knights were inspired by the accusation of disloyalty to their king and responded to the challenge by murdering Thomas Becket on the steps of Canterbury Cathedral's altar, reputedly a "sword-free zone".

Would modern day self-described "Blue Knights" respond to a similar challenge to violate the rights of citizens who dare to oppose a modern day king? You know that many would respond the same way as Becket's murderers, as their loyalty to their king takes precedence. They have not learned from the Nuremberg trials or own military's UCMJ that unlawful orders must not be obeyed. There are sufficient occasions of willful rights violations of those who oppose authority by the police today to support this conclusion.

Yet he seems to have no problem enforcing New Jersey's already flagrantly unconstitutional laws.
