Who says that there's no place for concealed carry in St. Louis?

"'Knockout game' case shocked St. Louis, then fell apart." Felony assault which could easily have been a murder. It is truly better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

Those aren't the 'toughest' streets in the city Dutchman. The 'kids' who grow up in that South Grand neighborhood grow up mean for no real good reason. There's plenty of food, plenty of money and more opportunity to improve themselves than they care to comprehend.

Unfortunately, they've been taught to be angry and mean and disrespectful. It's like a game to see who can get the biggest chip on their shoulder. And then to see who can perform the most outrageous and offensive act against their fellow citizens.

Unfortunately, they're too immature for the freedom and privileges our society lavishes on them. And I can't stand the thought of wasting tax money to imprison them.

Eventually, the roughest ones usually 'off' themselves when they cross that invisible but well known line. Or, they run far afoul of social norms and find themselves getting prison tat's and relearning survival tactics they didn't quite care to comprehend when their freedom was not so well cherished and understood.

St. Louis has not forgotten their offenses nor their faces. That neighborhood isn't big enough to 'disappear' into and escape unnoticed. And like the Chief mentioned, they have no idea of the retribution awaiting their miscreant behaviors.
