I have a tumor, stomach, outer lining, one each, with attendant ulceration, inner lining. Tissue samples taken, will know what it is Thursday. Further surgery certain. Will advise when I know more. Have been through ringer today, so I'm taking a few hours off. At least it's not an alien.

My best wishes for a successful outcome, Mike.
Get better, Mike--we can't throw down the gates of Mordor without you.
Oh, dear.....
I'll say some extra special prayers for you, Mike.
MORE PRAYERS COMING UP!
Will be praying for you.
Praying for you now.
I am praying to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for you. Blessings also to your sweet wife Rosie.
Dammit, man, I TOLD you to keep your tinfoil hat on, but no! Now them rays has messed with you.
But I guess you've come through worse than this. And if the prayers of all who love you and support you, count for anything, then God will bring you through this one, too, with flying colors.
You know how to reach me, and if Rosey needs to talk or anything, tell her to call any time. I would offer to come and sit during the procedure but you know the reason I can't be gone from here at present.
Prayers going up. Hang tough.
Prayers up - "benign" is what I wish for this moment.
Be well Mike. We want you around to see this society pull its cranium from its output port.
DRAT!
Sorry, Mike. All we can do now is hope and pray it is benign.
I would think that these days they should be able to remove the tumor with an endoscope. That will make recovery MUCH easier and faster. My wife had her gut re-plumbed (gastric bypass) and only spent 3 days in hospital.
For now, remember this is a "serenity" issue. Ain't nothing you can do to improve the situation. As that Carpenter's son once said "Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." Matt. 6:34 I've learned through that no matter how much evil I borrow from tomorrow, when the day arrives there is just as much evil on that day as there erer would have been - PLUS I made the day I imported the evil into worse.
Hang in.
AND for heaven's sake get absolved done! I hear chemo is a stone bitch! ;)
Prayers out.
Mike,
Prayers to the Father via Jesus on your behalf. Trusting benign.
When the doctor told you did you reply Arnold Schwarzenegger like from Kindergarten Cop, "It's not a tumor!"
At any rate. Prayers are being prayed Bud.
Oh no.
I sure hope the prognosis is better than the diagnosis.
Mike-- Stay strong. You may wish to consider intravenous Vitamin C megadosing. Highly effective against cancer.
Hope you beat this thing. For what it's worth, I'm a firm believer in the fact that cancer cannot live in an alkaline environment.
I hope all goes well. And I second what Kurt said.
God be with you Mike. You're in our prayers.

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, lean not on your own understanding. He will make straight your paths, Mike. God bless you, Rosey, and your family.
Praying for your full recovery.
I placed a special prayer request for you on The Liberty Sphere. Many blessings and much healing!

I've got you on a prayer chain, with my whole hometown Lutheran church, which of course means you have to name your next child Sven.
Many people out here will be praying for you, wishing you a recovery, even those of us that don't normally comment.
You're strong, and you have a sense of humor, that will get you through a lot.
Big hug.

Echoing the sentiments of all here, Mike. You will absolutely be in my prayers.
Good Luck Mike.. Hopefully the diagnosis isn't as bad as all the doom and gloom they are telling.
I hope all goes well for you.
Prayers with thee, Mike V.
I'll be saying a few.
And follow your doctor's advice (as far as you're able, you irrascable old coot).

Prayer completed.
Best wishes. Stay strong.
Praying for you Mike.
Heal up and take care of yourself. None of us can avoid the ultimate fate but we can live well and do good unto others as we have the capacity to do. You have done much and we are better for your presence and efforts.
This is not a death sentence obviously but I'm sure that there are many who desire that result. It would be a lot easily for them if you weren't around. You must deny them that victory.
Another prayer from here for you and your family.
May God protect you. Thanks for all you do.
Thank God they have pinpointed this, Mike. You will have beaucoup thoughts and prayers.
I'm praying, too.
Thom
I'm glad to see you've got so many prayer warriors pulling for you, Mike. I'll add my own humble prayers to those, and wish you a speedy recovery, too.
My thoughts are with you and your family, Mike.
Please, take all the care you need to address this, including taking time away from blogging, completely.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.
That sucks.
You're in my prayers for a benign result.

Mike, I'm sorta at a loss as to what to say. Even though you and I have never laid eyes upon one another I count you as a friend and wish you all the best.
Understand that I'm probably being selfish when I say that you've got to hang in there and get well because we all need you in this war against those who would deprive us of our rights.
Take care,
Woody [W3]
Our prayers and loving gratitude go out to you, Mike.
Avoid the struggle of our cause and the incessant vitriol for awhile... a calm mind brings quiet to the body nd allows healing to begin.
All the angst an d energy of your prodigious efforts toward Liberty have taken a toll. It will be well for you to take some time to rest and decompress.
As vitally important and inspiring as your efforts have been, we will survive thew while an d perhaps even take up the slack. The Lord knows we need to do so.
Thank you a thousand times for all that you have done and will continue to do, just as soon as you give yourself the same love and attention that you have shed on our Noble Cause.

Mike, hang in there. I'll be praying for you. I've had to deal with serious illnesses more than once, so I know how you feel. Please keep us all updated as best as you can.
More prayers being sent up from the State of Jefferson.
Hello Mike,
first time responding to one of your posts. I had a stomach tumor too. I didn't know it till it ruptured. I know it may be small consolation but be grateful you found it early, or at least earlier than mine. The pain was so bad I had to be held down by 3 nurses. Finally, I gave one last scream and passed out from it.
The medicos found the tumor in surgery. It was the size of a soccer ball. They had to remove part of my stomsch, some of my large, and small intestine, and some of mt colon. Today, I can't digest food properly.
It sounds dreadful, and not to sugarcoat it, it is. But I have survived for 14 years now. There will be times when you feel like giving up. Don't.
Don't ever let the F%$#@ers win. I live in a world where I can't do what I love to do because of my condition, but I will never quit.
Good luck, and molon labe.
You are in my prayers.
Best wishes for your recovery. I am living proof that you can beat a little spot of "c." I had approximately 3/4 of my stomach removed 23 years ago. After the initial recovery, I have lived what I consider a normal life. I can eat anything I want including very spicy. The only things that I have to avoid are milkshakes and eggnog. These make me deadly ill. I will keep you in my prayers.
