Kurt Hofmann: "East St. Louis police chief says Gun registration, punitive fees are 'great idea.'"

"You have the right to bear arms, but you have the right to bear them within your home, not on the streets, not in your cars, not inside stores."

Good thing you follow your leader, stick to the story line. Oh, by the way your leader is not going to lower the river, to insure massive flooding this spring. Record snow pack in the Rockies with the rivers held at maximum, ESL will be under water. Even the rats are smart enough to go to higher ground, that landfil looks good with a supply of food to boot.

And if you have no home, you have no right.

Uh huh. Sure.

One cannot possibly read Heller top to bottom and come to that conclusion. Only with the most obvious of cherry picks, discounting dozens and dozens of pages alongside is that even possible.

The dispelling of the "right to serve in the military" argument makes clear the difference between an example and the ONLY example.

That Heller explains that the right does not hinge upon enumeration, that it is indeed preexisting, dispels the notion that exercise can depend on home occupancy - for that would mean the right would depend upon home ownership or rental. That is more idiotic that a FOID card that makes you a felon by the tick of a clock seeing the right to keep quite literally "expire".

Not to worry though, the mighty NRA and ISRA will be here in a couple weeks with yet another annual protest where it begs the legislature for fee and qualification based permission slips......

Ridiculous.

Been to E.St.Lo? I don't need to cuz you know it's a hellhole and dipshits like the chief of po-lice are in on the joke.

Let them pass their laws, I see a burgeoning arms market and lots of potential recruits...

If ever there was a town where you absolutely need a gun, East St. Louis is it! What a shithole! All law abiding residents should be allowed full auto to carry to the store along with a few frags. Home defense should consist of a 106 recoiless with beehive rounds. Welcome Mats should be claymores incognito. The police chief has got to be mentally deficient. After decades of lawlessness, the police are not making a noticeable difference. Talk about a turd that won't flush!

You have the right to be the police Chief, but you only have the right to be the police Chief at the station. Like we used to say, He needs to be shot and the horse he rode in on.

Yet another example of some civil servant educated beyond his abilities and promoting unconstitutional acts as legal.. the pompous ass.

Its time that civil servants serving us in law enforcement are reminded of who they work for and that they are bound by the constitutional protections of their employers. Failing to do so is a crime in every state, even for the "Only Ones".

I have yet to find any amendment that grants our employees the right or authority to interpret the law or our rights.. this mutt needs to be unemployed.

Give that boy a dictionary so that he could look up what the word "infringe" means, and help him to understand what it means when he swears to uphold and protect the U.S. Constitution.

Details, details, details.

I guess he forgot to read about the "shall not be infringed" part . . . .that is, if he can read at all, and isn't just an Obama parrot (squak!!).

Sounds to me like the problem there is the government.

How un-surprising.

There I go making that list again.
