AUSA Cunningham, who pleads the Fifth on Gunwalker, has a friend who thinks he's being picked on.

Congress Republicans now leading their own witch hunt.

He is right about one thing, Holder is ready to throw Cunningham and just about any lower level lackey under the bus to cover his own ass, and Issa, et., al is taking the bait.
The only hope is to get some of those lackeys to roll, but with an all but guaranteed pardon from Obama, immunity is a moot point.

I hate to say this, but face it; we're screwed. Again.

I have to say, I agree. This is BS. Another casualty of the Obama bus....

If I remember correctly Libby was convicted because he ‘could not remember’. If that is the standard for conviction, then Holder and gang should be on death row. And to compare the Libby issue to Fast and Furious is grotesque. Hundreds and hundreds have died and will die because of this ‘felony stu pid’ fiasco. Shame on you Doug Maceachern, the Terry family and ‘we the people’ deserve better from the ‘so called’ free press. You know the free press that is paid and bought for by the progressives!

Holder's logic - that by shipping arms to Mexico and causing concern for banning assault weapons - we would it would reduce crime and "and certainly would have a positive impact on our relationship and the crime situation in Mexico."

Huh?

Libby had nothing to do with outing Plame who was not even a covert operative. That was Richard Armitage, Colin Powell's right hand man. Libby was screwed. With regard to Cunningham, this piece has some merit. Perhaps he is being railroaded too, afterall, Burke was in on the ground floor of planning Fast and Furious, not Cunningham.

"I know Pat Cunningham. I know him well. I know he has been a dutiful civil servant for 32 years. A former judge advocate general Army officer. A pillar of his community. And a Republican."

I was willing to see Pat Cunningham exonerated until the author revealed him to be a Republican. ;^)
