Latest from Hugh Holub: Arizona gun laws not to blame for Agent Terry’s murder

Hugh takes the MSM to the woodshed.

What fascinates me about journalism and the news business as it is being practiced in Arizona today…both at the Arizona Republic and in the Tucson Daily Star is that here was have a major national story with two local “hooks”….Agent Terry is murdered near Tucson and two ATF “walked” weapons are found at his murder scene AND we have the ATF Gunwalker scheme operating out of Phoenix.

One would think ambitious reporters wanting maybe a Pulitzer Prize would have really dug into this story and made it their own.

Did not happen.

The story broke on 2nd amendment sites like Sipsey Street and I started posting on it on the Citizen because I also got off-the-record verification the claims about walked guns turning up at Terry’s murder scene were true.

A Department of Homeland Security mouthpiece publication even directly attacked me claiming the story I ran about ATF guns was not true.

Now we know what is really true in the wake of Senator Charles Grassley’s efforts and Representative Darrell Issa’s efforts.

Interestingly a blog site where we do this for free beat the heck out of both the Star and the Republic in getting the truth to the people of Arizona.

Whether you would even want such a thing in your house, I don't really know. But when the Pulitzer prize was offhandedly mentioned, the thought occurred to me. If anybody anywhere ever deserved that prize, this time around, I think it would be you Mike, dead serious, no joke. Just one man's opinion.

Thank you.

As a Citizen of the United States, residing in one of the most beautiful states in the Union.

Thank you.

I have taken your words, and assorted collected media to family and friends to support them in opening their eyes to another side of media.

Thank you.

Your efforts are very much appreciated.

Thank you.

I am not surprised at all. Gannett owns the Phoenix paper, and has a strong financial interest in the Tucson paper. If you want proof; look at the Des Moines Register, also Gannett owned. The senior senator from Iowa is leading the charge on this, and the 'newspaper of iowa' has not had ONE story. Not even from AP/Gannett. NOT ONE.

They don't give that award unless you do something really stupendous, like fabricating evidence which both nails a politician of the opposite party that they don't control yet and enhances the prospect of that seat being won by a Marxist.

Unfortunately, Mike did everything backwards and started out telling the truth, something Marxists never do or allow to be done, unless it works to their advantage.

"No award for you", say the print Nazis.

Ok, so the Nazis weren't quite communists... They were close enough, Hitler just wanted to be in charge, that's all.

Hugh is a good guy, but he is not a big fan of all the "gun rights" we have now.

Hopefully his eyes are opening to the "war on guns"

Just saw Michelle Malkin on Hannity talking about F&F. Boys - this situation has developed into an out-of-control ass rash for the Bounel syndicate.
