Fighting the Walking Dead
(As taught by an ex-zombie).
Where: Hoover Tactical Firearms, Hoover, Alabama.
When: December 10 2015, 6:00PM to 8:00PM.
The second of our Luke 22:36 Lecture Series explores the evils of spiritual and moral slavery as represented by the zombie craze and how to fight it.   The popularity of shows such as The Walking Dead expresses the very real fears of a people beset by the murderous followers of various collectivisms such as the death cults of Islamic terror, resurgent communism and socialism, the mass killers of the modern day Eugenics movement as represented by Planned Parenthood and the racism of the Black Lives Matter movement and the Ku Klux Klan.
This lecture will be taught by a self-described “ex-zombie,” Mike Vanderboegh, who spent his early years as a member of the secret wing of the Progressive Labor (communist) Party.  Vanderboegh, a long-time Second Amendment activist and citizen journalist who first broke the Fast and Furious Scandal story on the Internet in December 2010, will detail how all collectivisms share certain characteristics and expose the lie of the left-right continuum of politics as a fraud which amounts to “competing tribes of cannibals arguing over who gets to eat your corpse.”
The Luke 22:36 Lecture Series is sponsored by “A .45 and Fries” discussion and prayer group, which meets at Hoover Tactical Firearms on the second Thursday of every month at 6:00 pm and concludes promptly at 8:00PM.

Don't look now, Rahm, but your cover-up is slipping. The man who brought us the Fast and Furious conspiracy and evaded responsibility for it finally has karma catching up with him.

"A Reckoning for Rahm."

I have another name for it: ABJECT FAILURE.

"Obama's efforts on gun control have little to show: Despite forceful rhetoric after mass shootings, he's made little progress toward new curbs on gun sales."
"On the morning after the San Bernardino attack, Obama turned the focus to the states instead, where more gun control measures have been passing."
Okay, let's recap. After almost 7 years in power, Obama has by his own efforts sold more firearms and ammunition than any three previous presidents combined, maybe more. The so-called "progress" with state restrictions after Sandy Hook have done nothing but provoke an armed civil disobedience movement that has the anti-firearm politicians in those states too frightened to enforce the laws they passed lest they suffer personal consequences and start a civil war. Passage of anti-firearm laws, they are learning, doesn't mean dick if the laws are nullified by armed civil disobedience. The millions that Mike Bloomberg have spent -- and continue to spend -- have bought the prohibitionists exactly nothing. Indeed, by any metric -- poll numbers, background checks, concealed carry permits, ammunition shortages due to demand, loss of control of the House and Senate -- Obama's clumsy crusade has been an abject failure. Throw in the failed Fast and Furious conspiracy (see "The Obama administration, not the NRA, sells guns to terrorists") which dealt a tremendous blow to the regime's credibility and you have a classic epic fail. Every time Obama opens his mouth on the subject, he sells more firearms and ammunition for us. One wonders if the man can possibly be that stupid as to not recognize this, or does he really WANT the country -- and his self-chosen political enemies -- to be armed to to the teeth?
Meanwhile, the GOP candidates are showing remarkable sense and not letting themselves be stampeded by collectivist name-calling as many of their squishy predecessors have -- "GOP candidates double down on guns after San Bernardino: A day after the shooting massacre in California, Republican presidential contenders were utterly unapologetic about their opposition to new gun-control laws."

Academy Sports welshes on their advertisement.

The saga continues . . . I have in hand a written promise of a rain check from the local store manager at Academy. Not that it means a bloody thing, because they have no intention of providing the product. Here's the text of a chat session I had with an Academy customer service rep:
Uduzei O: Hi, my name is Uduzei O. How may I help you?
Mike: Academy ran a sale ad on Sunday for .22 LR ammunition (limit 10 50-rd boxes). When I went to the store in Birmingham early on Sunday morning your own sales people did not know it was offered and had no stock. They told me to come back the next day in the hope that there would be stock on the truck. I asked if there were any stores in the Birmingham are that did have stock. They checked and found that in the Southeast region the closest stores to have any product were in New Orleans and Kentucky! I have been back every morning since then to no avail. No product is available in this area. Why do you advertise product that you apparently have no desire or ability to deliver? No. Forget that. I'll settle for an answer to this question: when will you provide product that can be purchased locally?
Uduzei O: I will be glad to check this ammunition for you Mike, please do you a SKU #?
Mike: The SKU is not referred to in the ad. It is described as American Eagle .22 Long Rifle Ammo, 50 ct. box. The price is listed as 2.29 per box, limit ten boxes.
Uduzei O: Thanks Mike . . Please Let me see what I can find out, please give me a few moments, ok?
Mike: Sorry. That was 2.19 per box. . . It is on Page 21A of your sale ad stating "Prices good November 29-December 5, 2015."
Uduzei O: Thanks for holding Mike
Uduzei O: I have checked everywhere it does not seem we have it in stock right now
Mike: So what am I to conclude? That you're not going to honor the ad? When will you get stock? And will you get me a rain check guaranteeing the advertised price?
Uduzei O: Mike those sales ads are based on a sale price for a period or as long as stock last which ever comes first and unfortunately we ran out of stock before the end of the sale
Mike: YOU NEVER HAD THE STOCK! You didn't provide your stores with any.
NOT ONE MEASLY BOX.
I'll tell you what. I'll just post a notice on my blog about this little misadventure and my readers can make their own conclusions about where to shop. It's not much of a blog, I just get about 8-9 thousand hits per day. But hey, every little bit helps, right?
Uduzei O: Mike I will channel your observations to management and they might get back in touch with you
Uduzei O: Thanks Mike, I will go ahead and put in my notes that you were informed from the various stores that the .22 LR was never stock
Uduzei O: Mike, Apart from relating you experience with lack of stock of a advertised item, is there any other thing you might need help with today?
Mike: No, I think that about covers it. I'm working on the post for tomorrow right now.
Uduzei O: Thanks for contacting Academy Sports + Outdoor. Be Safe. If you require additional assistance, please contact Customer Service (888)922-2336 7am-12midnight CST or chat & email (customerservice@academy.com) are available 24/7.
So, gentle readers, that-a is that-a, as they say.

So, where did the firearms come from? And were they "illegal"?

"ATF Says Rifles Used in San Bernardino Shooting Were Illegal."
"2 Guns From San Bernardino Massacre Came From San Diego Store: ATF."

Keep talking Bozo. Sell some more firearms and ammunition for us. PLEASE!

"Obama: Still 'too easy' to buy guns in America: The president is weighing a new executive action that would increase background checks for small-scale gun sellers."
The administration is considering at new executive actions the president can take without approval from Congress, in particular a move to require more background checks for some gun sales by requiring some small-scale gun sellers to get a dealers license from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms. Earnest also called on Congress to pass a new assault weapons ban—the San Bernardino shooters were using assault weapons purchased legally—and to change the law on background checks to stop people on a terrorist watch list from purchasing guns. The National Rifle Association has said an outright ban for those individuals is not necessary because law enforcement officials are notified when they try to buy a gun and can make a case-by-case decision. Senate Democrats are working to force votes Thursday on the watch list bill and a universal background check measure that failed in the wake of the Sandy Hook shootings. Earnest dismissed as irrelevant whether any of those particular proposals would have stopped this particular incident.

"Gun activist Anthony Bosworth receives $250 fine for carrying rifle at courthouse."

U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Rodgers called Anthony Bosworth “a man of principle” and said the two years of probation requested by federal prosecutors for a failure-to-comply charge would not serve any purpose. “Nothing I’ve seen, in the facts that are being dealt with here, show any violence or threat of harm to any individual,” Rodgers told Bosworth at a sentencing hearing Wednesday afternoon.

David Codrea: "Attacks on Gun Owners Backfiring as Facts on San Bernardino Shootings Emerge."

"Like the saying goes, haters gonna hate. They’re going to rage, they’re going to lie, they’re going to accuse and they’re going to demand. The less temperate and tactical among them, that is, the self-control-challenged who go nuts if they can’t control everyone else, will say some furious, ridiculous and desperate things that will both show all their cards and their impotence. That’s because they know, deep in their cowardly and covetous hearts, that the final card is held by gun owners who, in the final analysis, will not be scapegoated and will not comply with subversive edicts that do nothing but give all advantages to the evil. That’s because they know that ultimately, they’re stopped in their tracks by one simple, defiant response: No. Your move. It’s up to each of us gun owners to do our part to maintain the capability to back that up, and to pass it on to our heirs as it was passed on to us."

"Making the fire rise." "Sovereign citizen" is certainly a provocateur, but in whose cause?

"Minn. man accused in Black Lives Matter shootings reportedly subscribed to ‘sovereign citizen’ subculture."
He allegedly filmed himself and another man (identified as J.T. in the complaint) headed to an earlier Black Lives Matter protest dressed in camouflage clothing and pledging to “make the fire rise” — an apparent reference to an anarchic character in the Batman movie “The Dark Knight Rises.”
Dennis Mahon of White Aryan Resistance gave me a tutorial over the phone back in the 90s on how they planned to start a race war in this country that they expected to result in the neoNazis being "the last men standing" afterward. It remains a legitimate question: just whose cause is this moke serving?

Praxis: "Fast Rifles."

There are many lessons in this fragment of history for the small unit leader and especially for the soon-to-be militia commander thrust into a situation where he must integrate newbies with veterans on the fly to achieve the best results. Don't let the political strategic failure of Vietnam blind you to some of its tactical successes that can be applied to future conflicts -- especially the civil war that is being thrust upon us by the collectivists of our own country. Print this one out and study it later at your leisure, and for distribution to other subordinate leaders.

The ghosts of collectivism past. Cutting their gun confiscation teeth -- Rahm Emanuel and Dennis Burke, principals in Fast and Furious conspiracy, behind the scenes at the Clinton White House. ALSO: "The Left Prays To Its God Of Government."

The Clinton Files.
In short, the Clinton Presidential Archives are a breathtaking look into documents held secret during the Clinton years. These records reveal things that, until now, only Hillary Clinton and other insiders knew: things that put her latest “gun control platform” in a new—and profoundly threatening—light.
LATER: And they still haven't learned their lesson. "Democrats aren't afraid to be anti-gun anymore."
Many Democrats also thought the primary campaign against Bill Bradley pushed 2000 presidential nominee Al Gore too far to the left on guns. The stance cost Gore Arkansas, West Virginia and his home state of Tennessee. If he had carried any one of those states, he would have won the presidency even without Florida's hanging chads. Former Gore national spokesman Doug Hattaway went so far as to say "there's not a potent pro-gun control constituency in national elections. . ."
The debate is only partly about firearms policy. It's also a culture war issue. Obama was recorded talking about bitter people who cling to guns and religion. Liberals appear to hope that disarming largely law-abiding red-state gun owners (along with Sanders' progressive gun-toting constituents) will reduce the supply of guns in high-crime blue cities like Chicago, which already have tough gun laws on the books.
For Democrats, the obvious political risk is that gun owners will mobilize and vote heavily Republican in the 2016 elections. This could produce an outcome in the presidential race similar to Gore's defeat. It could also hurt Democrats in down-ballot races, where they are already struggling.

Birds of a collectivist feather flock together.

"Emanuel gets heated when Cuba travel plans revealed."

Off with their heads, sez CNN "expert." First the sentence, then the trial.

"CNN Pundit Already Blaming Anti-Government Militias for CA Shooting." Gee, the fact that they were "devout Muslims" will come as a great disappointment.

Sorry, but I've been crippled by email and blogger malfunctions.

Don't ask me why, but I haven't been able to access my email or blogger for the last day. Darned inconvenient. I guess I need another malware wipe. Things seem to be working now. We'll see how long that lasts.

Kenny Lane's day in court over the lawfare attacks of the Kerodinistas.

Kenny writes a bare bones description of "My day in court." At issue is Velma Mae Suckoo's ("Holly Kerodin's" more-or-less real name) attempt to have Kenny's firearms rights stripped from him and his website shut down as defamatory.
Now, let me note for the record that I have not communicated with Kenny and he has not approved what I am going to write next. However, I missed the opportunity to pass on to you, gentle readers, the electronic link (since taken down) to support Kenny's legal expenses. The only thing left now is to publicize the fact that Kenny maintains a PO Box and so any readers, should they be so inclined, can send him legal expense reimbursement there. I would note that if you send it anonymously he cannot return it. His address is Kenny Lane, PO Box 1996, Ceres, CA 95307. Any readers who want to rebuke the Kerodinistas by donating should send it there. Take that, Velma Mae.
